Buy this for your cat…seriously!
I was looking for a new perch type bed/place for my cat, Matilda, to hang out. She loves to hang out in the sun but my tiny home doesn’t offer a lot of options. She usually follows me down to the bathroom to in the basement where here is a window high up with a big window seal. It faces south so it is sunny during the day. I live in a cold part of the country so in the winter, sunny days are treasured. But I don’t let her hang out in the bathroom all day. Most cat style window perches won’t work in the old style windows I have in my house so when I came across this hammock, I was so happy to see that it would perfectly fit across the window on the south side of my living room. Now Matilda can sit in the window and get sun as much as she wants.Let me tell you about this cat hammock. First of all, I was surprised at the weight of it. This thing is solid. It is made of read wood and metal…nothing cheap about it. And the fabric the hammock is made out of is nice and thick. It should last a while even though Matilda did stretch out and get it a good feel with her claws as soon as she got on it. Although it came as one piece out together, the parts are put together with screws so I’m pretty sure that if the hammock needed to be replaced, I could take it apart and replace the fabric. I really like that it comes with all the things you need including a drill bit if you are using the dry wall supports. If you are screwing it into wood or some other hard substance and don’t need to use those added supports, then that drill bit is too big for those screws.I don’t really have any cons with this item; however, here are things I that were difficult for me that may help you with the insulation process. Because of the weight of this thing and the fact that it’s all attached together, it would have been helpful if I had another person to help me. I ended up dropping it on my cube storage holder and it is so heavy it put a big gash in the top of it. Although it comes with a little level, there is no template to make the holes so trying to get everything set up to drill the holes can be a bit challenging with only one person, which is why I dropped it. I ended up making my own template and then things went more smoothly. Also, as one person said, the top two screws can be tricky but I have a long cable type extension for me electric drill and that solved the problem. Nicely. So, order this but plan ahead, have an extra pair of helpful hands available when you get ready to install it.Oh, my cat is is not huge but she is by no means tiny either. She weighs a good 12 pounds or so. I set it up while she ran and hid from the process but then she was more than willing to try it out without having to coax her with catnip. The proof that this hammock is cat approve is in the photos. She is one happy young lady

My cat loves being up high
We built shelves up the wall on both sides to this hammock that sits high up on the wall. It is one of her favorite places to snuggle up and hide. My cat is entertained with this set up and the hammock was the perfect touch to her climb. Very sturdy but my cat only weighs 7 pounds. It feels strong enough to hold a larger cat. Cats love it! But gotta hit TWO anchors in the wall!
My cat loves this hammock. it’s very durable and she “makes biscuits” on the fabric and it doesn’t get messed up at all from her claws. The ONLY thing I would caution people about is making sure you HIT A STUD when mounting! When we put the hammock up on the wall, we were able to hit one stud on the right but the left side we had to use anchors. Our 7lb cat slept in the hammock every night, but within two weeks the anchors were ripping out of the wall. We took the hammock apart, did a bunch of measurements and found where to anchor the hammock so we could hit a stud for the left side. Then we shortened and cut the hammock fabric and re-mounted it. It works but it’s just a bummer that our wall is ripped apart now from the anchor failure. It functions well and the cats fight to lay on it so it must be comfy!

The hammock itself is pretty heavy. Iâd highly recommend installing this into studs due to its weight alone.My cats LOVE this hammock. Itâs very sturdy and supports my largest cat (16 pounds) with ease. It looks great in our home too. I would definitely purchase more in the future.

Great quality, super easy to assemble, bigger than I expected which was impressive to me. My cat loves it the most out of every other piece Iâve hung on his wall. Sturdy but way to big
The bed was super sturdy and felt like good quality but when we put it up it was too heavy for our wall and didnât fit our space. But it was easy to assemble. I just recommend having solid wood to screw it into.

Best cat wall hammock on the market
I bought this after buying a different hammock that was poorly made and not sturdy. I was really impressed with the quality of this product, it felt extremely sturdy and heavy. It was a bit difficult to hang up due to the weight so it was more of a 2 person job to hang up by my cat loves it!

Supports my thicc girl
Cat immediately took to it. Sheâs a long girl (12-13lb) and this supports her perfectly. Itâs durable and doesnât move off the wall or anything, putting it up was a little tricky but itâs stable. For the price point too, itâs perfect.
