Waterproof….. actually true!
Genuinely waterproof and submersible. I purchased other LED lights that said “waterproof” that lasted less than a month as an under hood light for an aquarium top. While not even in water…. the LED lights were nevertheless in a wet environment…. but also didn’t survive. This one, however…. is truly waterproof. I installed it under the aquarium top first, then submerged it into the aquarium to illuminate up from the bottom, providing some relatively dramatic lighting. So far the light has performed flawlessly. The blue and white LEDs are also a nice touch and provide some interesting lighting effects.

Great light, need better suction cups.
Lights are great and powerful for how small it is. However for the 4 stars, the suction cups are too weak. I put it in dry and wet surfaces and the light still falls off. It doenst hold longer than 20 minutes give or take. Beside that, the lights are amazing and easy to control. I do wish they had a smaller time limit instead of a minimum of 6 hours to 9 then 12. It would have been good if it was 3, 6, 9. Not many of us leave the light on all day.

Nice Bright Little Light
I really like this light. I have it in my 20-gallon tall tank, and it lights it well without overwhelming my fish. I have black skirt and white skirt tetras in there, and they don’t love super bright light. Most of the plants are low to moderate light plants as well. It’s nice that you can set this light to different brightness levels. I haven’t tested the colors, since the poor fish freaked out just from me flipping through the brightness levels. The timer works well as long as you hit the timer button at the exact time that you want it to turn on and off. This feature was very important to me since I’m going to be gone for a week. The remote makes it very easy for me, a wheelchair user, to use without having to get right up to the switch on the cord. Overall I’m happy with this little light and I’ll definitely buy again in the future if the need arises.

The item is perfect for my 20 gallon tank. The light options for white and blue have 10 brightness settings. The timer also works well and comes on at the correct time you first set it up for. Has three timer settings, 6 hr, 10 hr & 12 hr. When you set it up the first time it takes about a minute or two, but after that it cycles on and off perfectly. I use the combined setting of white and blue with a 10 hr setting. The lights come back exactly as the last setting you left it at. It’s also submersible but I have it placed under the hood suctioned to the hood. It fell off once and was floating in the water for approximately 3 hrs before I could put it back up. Haven’t tested the suction cups under water so cannot comment on that. Overall I found this to be a great value for the bright light it emits. My Amazon sword plant, Java moss/Christmas moss and dwarf Sagittaria grass are happy with this light and so are my fish.

I was looking for a light for our tank that we were able to change the colour , or dim the lights. We have a standard white bulb already in the tank , which I feel is too bright for our fish to be on all day and it can at times make our tank look quite murky, even tho the water is clear. After reading the reviews I decided to try this. I am happy with it. When we use the white light the water looks crystal clear and all our plants , decorations and fish look brightly coloured and pretty. Then even the blue colour is attractive looking like a marine set up. You can also dim the lights if desired . We have 120 litre set up and one light is plenty. I just hope it lasts .

Blue light is amazing. I got 2 38cm lights for a 29 gallon tank.White light is not as bright as the original lights that came with the tank, however the blue ones are stunning
