Customers say
Customers find the terrarium easy to assemble and appreciate its compact design, particularly noting it’s perfect for jumping spiders. The enclosure receives positive feedback for its value, with customers saying it’s not bad for the price. However, the build quality and latch mechanism receive mixed reviews – while some find it well-built, others describe it as flimsy, and some report that the latching mechanism pops off. The pop-out feature also gets mixed reactions, with some finding it secure while others say it’s not secure.

Perfect for a medium size 8-legged pal
I rescued a western black widow just before snow started to fly. She was struggling to make it across my unheated shop floor. I scooped her up in a jar, transferred her to this setup and kept her in my living room so I could admire her on the daily. She seemed perfectly content. I fed her twice a week on pinheads. She filled a fair amount of the space with webbing and even stayed out where she could easily be seen, even though I placed hollowed out branches and other hidey-holes in there for her. Unfortunately, she had a bad molt and passed after 3 weeks. I was bummed, but I like the enclosure so much I’m going to get another and get a hold of two more widows in the spring. The entire design is simple. I’m not going to lie; my daughter was concerned that if the enclosure fell off its shelf, it may disassemble, or at least open up enough to where the widow could escape. I poked, prodded, jostled, and shook, but I was entirely confident there wouldn’t be a problem. I stopped short of dropping it because resin sheet (specifically tabs in slots) are not the most robust and I saw no point in risking breaking the thing. I have no doubt it will hold up perfectly well.Straightforward design, easy access to the interior, and ridiculously easy to assemble or disassemble. For an affordable, basic enclosure, this one does the trick.

Love this enclosure for my jumping spiders
Iâve bought this enclosure twice now and it works great for my spoods. Easy to assemble and good quality. The cap didnât go all the way in so I just took a razor blade and chiseled small slices off the pieces that keep it from setting in and it was an easy fix. I only ever see a gap in the sides when the lock isnât fully pushed into place and Iâve had no escapes. This is great for sub/adult spiders

Overall decent product, but a few issues…
It works for what it’s intended use is, but… with a little bit of tweaking that is…We use this for our pet pale green assassin bug, and before that we had it for our wheel bug (another type of assassin bug), it was very easy to put together, but there was a slight gap at the top where fruit flies (their food) could it get out and as time went on (about a month or two, we just got this tank I think at the end of October?) The plastic started to warp and We would put a rubber band across at the top so it could stay closed because it wouldn’t latch properly, even from the beginning it was a little bit hard and left a slight gap at the top when we first got it…. Also, while my husband was trying to do his best to fix the warp, BARELY manipulating it, the plastic at the bottom snapped… But, in the products defense, I think the coconut coir (flooring/bedding used) was a bit too tightly packed, which may have exacerbated the warping or even caused it to warp. But other than those things, It gets the job done and honestly I think pretty much any tank like this would possibly have issues, but is perfect in size and accurate as far as the size and goes! And what we did for the sides of the vent (So fruit flies don’t get out!) is cut small parts off of a roll of window screen replacement & use gorilla tape on the outside corners so it stays!

Good enclosure
( yes I know I didn’t decorate it cool it’s too expensive/I’m talking about the prices of decors is expensive but no worries I’ll decorate it better when I get the chance too)Love it, just like the pictureA quick heads-up: donât overfill it â too much inside creates pressure, which can stretch the enclosure and cause small gaps where spiders could escape. Itâs held together by strong rubber bands, so keep decorations light and non-pressuring.If it looks cloudy, make sure youâve removed both front and back protective screens â itâs double-sided.The feeding hole works well; just push and twist the cap to secure it.Not ideal for tiny spiderlings (they can escape), but perfect for chunky jumpers like Regals.Overall, great product! Just read the instructions carefully.I heard people were having problems with it being cloudy ( just take off the protective wrap it’s on both sides of each panel and do that before putting it together) oh and definitely not for spiders that are really little maybe something bigger and chunkier like a regal jumping spider and try not to fill it to much where it’s stretching out the container cuz remember it’s basically rubber bands keeping it all together so if you and more stuff that pushes against the wall then of course the bands will stretch and there will be gapsBut anyways it’s pretty good highly recommend it especially because it comes with it’s own little thermometer

Fine for a few days, then warped
I got this enclosure to house a jumping spider.PROS:- Easy to assemble. They also included more rubber bands than was actually needed, but I think that’s a good thing just in case- The vent holes aren’t as big as some competitors although I did have to cover them with some mesh because my spider was small enough that it could crawl through.- I loved the hole on top as it was easy to give food and water without having to open up the enclosure. Some other reviews didn’t like that the rubber cap didn’t stay firmly in place, but that didn’t bother me as much.CONS:- I’m not sure what happened, but the acrylic panels started warping after a few days. In fact, they warped enough where there was a big enough hole between panels for my spider to escape 🙁 According to my research, acrylic can warp under varied temperatures, but the temperature difference in the room the enclosure was in was about 10 degrees (between 65 to 75 degrees. So pretty much room temperature). I’m in the process of unwarping it, but that takes time and I’m not sure if it’ll do it again in the future.

Thicker acrylic then the zoomed mini habitat. Easy to assemble. The panels were wrapped in bubble wrap for shipping. I’ll be buying there larger version for another turantula.
