This is garbage – save your money
The main benefit of a solar powered pump is that it works in the sun so you don’t need to plug it in. This POS doesn’t charge enough to work while sitting in the sun.Anyone who gets thinks this is worth anything is lying to you. Absolutely useless since it needs to be plugged in to charge. Just buy a nicer silent pump if you plan on plugging something in anyway.

Disappointing amount of water surface disturbance
It works but it doesn’t put out enough air. I was hoping to use this to keep pet water from freezing in the Winter. I put it in a 2 gallon bucket of water and ran it for a couple of weeks. It just doesn’t disturb the surface water enough that I would be comfortable using this in frigid night temperatures.

Don’t Expect Whisper Quiet.
While the product works pretty well,the tubing and stone settings were a bit awkward, and the noise level is unbearable. I was expecting whisper quiet. It’s annoying; I can’t get good sleep nor can I fully relax while cooking, or any other activity around the house. Also, don’t leave it unattended for long because it doesn’t have a long battery life…

Worked great until it broke in cold weather
Bought this to aerate our 200 gallon stock tank pond. It worked great in the summer off solar. However, it only lasted a few weeks once the rain and cold weather arrived and I had to run it off an extension chord. I kept it covered in the rain, and we are in coastal California, so the temps only got into 40’s at night. Not sure if it was plugging it in or weather that did it in.
