What to do if the clipper is jamming and pulling the animal’s hair?

Works well for full body clipping horse
I used this clipper to do a full body clip on my horse who has a thicker coat due to Cushings. She was sweating heavily and I had to get the hair off. The clipper is heavy but is also powerful. * Your horses hair needs to be clean*. I tried clipping it while still dirty and it clogged the clipper right away. No problem with this after throughly washing my horses coat. The clipper is exactly what I needed and does a good job. It does heat up frequently, and gets quite hot, so require frequent blade cooling off. ** Feel your blade frequently to ensure you dont burn your horse or other animal. The clipper is quite loud but my horse got used to it quickly. For the price, the clipper is great! Did exactly what I needed it to do!

These clippers are GREAT and I AM THRILLED I BOUGHT THEM!!!! We have a draft cross who has Cushings and needs to be clipped for the summer show season since he doesn’t shed out completely. I have owned and used the very expensive $350 OSTER clippers and these clippers did a MUCH BETTER JOB and were easier to use!!!!! I trusted the cut on these clippers so much that I even went along his mane line with them and portions of his legs, which I usually use my smaller clippers for. No lines whatsoever were left on his body and they cut through his thick coat like it was butter. He is a BIG horse, and I got him completely show-ready clipped in under 2 hours. He could’ve walked right into the show ring after being clipped-he looked that polished. The clippers don’t get hot fast and they just overall feel solid. I really trusted them. They may seem loud to some horses, but they are no louder than other heavy-duty clippers. My only wish is the case they came in was a bit bigger as the clippers don’t really fit well in it and it would be nice to be able to fit other items in it. If you are on the fence about buying these…DONT BE!!! BUY THEM! I have been clipping horses for over 30 years and these are by FAR my favorite. Happy clipping!!!

I bought these after the motor burned out in my Oster Clipmasters. I wasnât expecting to be wowed because of the cheap price (mine were only $85 because they were used and returned dirty.. but itâs not like I wasnât going to get them dirty!). If I recall correctly, I bought the Clipmasters for around $300 ages ago. These things are BEASTY. Yes, they are heavier. However, they are totally worth the weight when you see that they clip like butter and you can go *fast*.I just gave my super filthy, hairy mare a modified trace clip, and despite her dancing around and having limited light, they did a really good job. No lines, no stray tufts, a good even clip.They definitely did heat up in the 4-5 speed range like Iâd expect any set of clippers to do, but I didnât have any qwik kool blade spray on hand to fix the issue. Several breaks to cool off were necessary. Iâm definitely going to pick up a can of kwik kool for the next clip, and may mess with the tension settings a bit too.5/5 would recommend for body clipping horses. Would probably not use them on dogs or anything smaller than sheep size because they are large clippers with a wide head. Theyâd be difficult to maneuver around tight/narrow spots.

ZERO STARS!!! I literally used them on my horse for 10 minutes, having to do multiple breaks, got hot easy. I oiled blades and Cool spray. It never would cut after that and a plastic piece broke inside. Why have plastic pieces in heavy duty horse clippers. The clippers are also SUPER heavy & loud on low speed. These clippers are junk. Now I have a partly shaved horse. He is insulin resistant so have to have to shave because does not shed. I need it done ASAP but thanks to these I have to wait for $ back to afford more and going to get in the 80’s. Do not get scammed like I did.

Big animal clippers
The clippers worked fine, but really heavy, I am going to return them. they weigh right at 10 lbs. I made 2 passes down my Rottweiler’s back and I could do no more. I sent them a message to exchange for a lighter pair , but have not heard from them.

Used these to trim my Clydesdale. Weâre very sharp and did nice job. They are a little on the heavy side and when you trim in more tight areas, they are hard to use because the body of the clippers is long. So suggest to have 2 types of clippers on hand. Too big to trim under chin, and ears, need smaller clippers. A little noisy when you turn them on, but the horse gets used to the sound. Recommend oiling them and cleaning them during use, they do get hot, but with the cooling spray all works good. Anyway, your arms get tied a little while using them and good to take a break too!
