Great thermostat, best Iâve found at this price point.
This is one of the best thermostats at this price point Iâve found. I run 2 ball python enclosures off of it. Itâs easy to set and the calibration feature works really well to dial in temperatures. Iâve been using this continuously for more than 6 months and have never found the unit to get warm or malfunction in any way.

Seems okay, but designed to fail
At first this controller was very useful, I could set the two temperature probes to in the snake enclosure and near the undertank heating pad to monitor both temperatures simultaneously. After about a month of use, the first probe on the heating pad broke. By that I mean, it started to report temperatures from 72 to 135 degrees. The sensor inside the tank held steady at 85 so I was content to ignore that failure as everything seemed to be working. About two weeks later I was woken in the middle of the night by an alarm. The temperature in the tank had dropped to 75, despite no change in the controller.Using the manual and scrolling through the menus I was able to reset it, the limits on the sensor probe, and correct the PID loop for temperature control. It worked for about a day before I got another alarm saying that the inside tank temperature had hit 95 degrees. This was confirmed with a second probe and an IR thermometer. It would randomly turn on and off power to the heating element, sometimes supply power to the wrong outlet (I was only using one of the two) because the “sensor” triggered for the other probe.I bought a new one from another supplier and since there was no chance of return from the company I took it apart to find out what’s wrong. The internal wiring is haphazard if I’m being generous. Solder connections are flimsy and oxidized, the chipsets used to make the electronics work are not compatible as in they have different voltage requirements and there’s no converter to change, so one either runs above recommended voltage or the other runs below the minimum required.TL;DR This failed after a month and nearly caused significant harm to my pets. It is designed to fail and will cause harm if you’re not vigilant.

Not too bad
Itâs difficult to figure out how this thermostat programs and cycles. It seems like it should be upfront but sometimes I notice my lights are not on when they should be. Wish there was better instructions.

Love it
Love it! Kinda hard to figure out the temp schedule but I did, and it works fabulously!

Maintains target temp range well. Probes seem to be accurate and respond quickly to changes. Love the multiple plugs. Would love a unit with even more plugs for larger reptile collections. Overall great so far after about 1 month of running it for my new cal geckos.Edit: loved it so much I now have one for my geckos, and another 2 units for my snakes. Amazing and cheap compared to other options. Can run hot side, cold side temps + daytime lights. Easy to use if youâre familiar with thermostat setups. Love love love.

I bought these at the end of December in 2023. It’s April 2024 and they already aren’t working. They will still turn my lights on and off but every time I plug in any kind of heat source no matter what wattage it is, it either burns out the bulb immediately or it won’t switch on the heat when it’s below the temperature it’s supposed to turn on at. Now neither of my reptiles have what they should’ve because I put my trust into something blindly. I’ve tried reaching out but have heard nothing, I’ll be trying again.. but please be warned that this is possible as it happened with both that I purchased.

Impossible de faire fonctionner les input 1 et 2 corectement elle refuse de se mettre en marche. La 3e fonctionne bien. D’apres les autres commentaire sa me semble un problème courant.

One for my corn snake and one for my ball python. Works very well with the timer, I have both set to turn the heating elements on during the day and off at night. Itâs never failed. The only downfall is that it is a little complicated to set up I find (the temperature part) but there are YouTube tutorials available. Iâd buy again.

This is exactly what I needed. The dual temp probes and controls are perfect for running 2 vivariums with different settings.Easy to set up, and so far its accurate and working perfectly.
