I have purchased a lot of homeopathic books throughout the years to aid in the longevity of my feline and canine companions. Many are too vague, many don’t give me what I’m looking for and some are just so complicated and medical based that I give up before I even find what I’m looking for!This book is a breath of fresh air. It’s easy to read, easy to find what I’m looking for and written in plain ole English. My 3 cats, who are 22 years old, use homeopathic remedies on a regular basis since 2 of them have kidney failure. It’s amazing to see the difference and I am grateful for each day they are still with me. I would highly recommend this book!

This is a useful reference text for anyone who wants to treat their cat with homeopathic remedies, I found it very practical and informative.

drug free cats
To know that there is an alternative to drugs which compromises the health of my cat’s liver & kidneys and ultimately her longevity is comforting. Even flees can be controlled with sulpher rather than poison in her bloodstream. The highly advertised flee control by the drug companies and celebrities cashing in, makes people feel guilty if they don’t use this expensive product. Read the book and find a homeopathic vet who does phone consultations and who sends you the remedy by post and you will have a healthier cat. It takes longer to recover but your cat will be better for it. And our precious little cats are worth it.

Good book but WHAT EXACTLY IS A DOSE?!
I bought this book in 2013. It’s good for choosing remedies for specific ailments BUT there is no info on how to make up an aqueous dosing bottle or how much to dose! He only advises how many doses to give and the timing of doses..That’s not helpful to anyone without prior education in making/dosing remedies to cats!I learned how to make up an aqueous dosing bottle from a remedy (pellets) from a (now RIP) homeopathic consultant (Irene DeVilliers) so I know how to do that and the importance of succussing before administering each dose. She suggested one dose is 0.5 ml which is given with an oral 1 ml syringe.I hope this missing info helps someone else.I wonder what Dr. Macleod considers as one dose? I could find nothing about this in entire book! Not good!
