Absolutely the favorite of all the woodpeckers, flickers, etc. This is the only suet I buy. The birds easily finish off a suet cake in one to two days. The other suet brands are ignored for days

Is bringing in the woodpeckers
I’ve used this brand and this formula for several years now. Over and over it has outperformed other types that I have purchased. I live in Appalacia and get a wide variety of woodpeckers and some smaller birds too. Great value for the money. Does not last long … which is a sign it works 🙂

Overall good!
Not bad, and the birds still like it, though not as much as the previous one. I got the usual birds, red-bellied woodpeckers, downy woodpeckers, cardinals, Grey catbirds, grackles, etc.However, I am taking one star off because it melts in the high summer heat.

I bought this suet to treat my backyard birds. What I didnât realize is that I was basically throwing an all-you-can-eat Vegas buffet for every winged creature within a 3-mile radius.The moment I hung it up, birds came out of nowhere. Sparrows, woodpeckers, a suspiciously swole squirrel, and one very confused pigeon who looked like he just wandered out of Times Square.A blue jay actually made direct eye contact with me while eating. I swear it winked. Every cake has a thick, gooey layer on one side, making it difficult to remove from the package and insert it into the cage. I’ve never had this problem with any other brand. Seems like they may have melted at some point, the oils settled to the bottom, and then it never re-solidified. I’ll be making sure I order the all-weather type from now on. P.S. I don’t live in a hot climate and they didn’t melt after they were delivered to me.

Always quality and birds love it. It’s the season for melty suet here in the south but these hold up pretty well!! Draws a ton of species and my Cardinals are particularly fond of this one!
