No mercy for ticks and more! Farnam knows that horse fly control, tick control and insect control for your pastured horses can be a challenge, we get you and we got your back! Equi-Spot Spot-On Fly Control for Horses is Farnam’s best choice for pastured horses that are not able to be regularly sprayed with a horse fly repellent spray, including mares and foals. Here’s how it works! Just one easy application of Equi-Spot every two weeks, lasts up to two weeks (that’s right, protection lasts for up to 14 days!) Equi-Spot delivers long-lasting protection against biting flies, bloodsucking gnats, dangerous ticks that can carry Lyme disease, mosquitoes that may transmit West Nile Virus and flies that may cause Summer Sores. That’s a lot of protection and peace of mind for you and your horses! Equi-Spot fly, tick and mosquito protection won’t wash off in the rain or when your horse sweats. Choose between a 6-week supply (green box with 3 applications) or a 12-week supply (blue box with 6 applications). Bugs don’t fly with Farnam, your partner in horse care.

    Great for ticks
I find this to be incredibly effective for ticks specifically. We are in Middle Tennessee and the ticks are fierce! This is the only thing that really works. It lasts for about 2 weeks per application, and I do notice when it’s wearing off.I recommend applying it with a latex glove and rubbing it in really well on the areas the box maps out. A vet showed me that trick which keeps it off your hands, and you can spread it very well along the belly which is a crucial area because that’s where ticks like to go most.I use this in conjunction with fly spray and a feed through pellet for a well-rounded approach to mitigate flies as well.

    Reliable and easy horse protection!
This spot-on treatment works well to keep my horse protected for weeks. Easy to apply and no fuss. I feel confident it helps keep pests away. Good value for a 6-week supply!

    Works great!
Amazing product. Flies were completly gone within an hour and it truly lasted 2 weeks. My horse were being tortured by the flies. This works kinda like the flea med you place at a dogs neck, same principle just a larger animal with more application spots for proper coverage.

    Ticks beware
Got this for ticks. Works very well so far for them and for me, as the little buggers love me too after they try my horses. I can’t speak for longivity yet. I also use a feed thru fly repellent, so doing what I can.Two negatives though. My horse is okay, but my donkeys skin seems to burn a little. Healing up though. Second is the applicator, I can’t stand it!! I saw someone else’s comment which is giving me the idea of transferring the liquid into a syringe.FARNAM, I’VE SPENT MY WHOLE LIFE WORKING WITH HORSES. I’D LIKE TO SEE YOU APPLY THIS TO A HORSES TUMMY!!!!

    Repels ticks
I live in an area heavy with ticks. My mare was very ill 2 years ago from a tick bite. This spot-on treatment works great to repel ticks. I don’t see a big decrease in flies though. This is a liquid so it comes out fast. Go slow with the application and barely turn the applicator up. My horse does not mind it when I put it on and she has not had any skin irritation from it.

    New packaging is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
This used to be a good brand but then they changed the applicator that the product is administered in. They put it in this asinine break open blister pack for some ungodly reason. I wish I could give zero stars. This is the most difficult way to administer this medication that anyone could ever imagine. First of all we’re applying this to a 3 dimensional horse. You cannot squirt this stuff out pointed upward or sideways. At least a third if not more of the product ended up on the ground from squirting out of this idiotic tube before it ever made contact with the horses. It’s like the people who designed this packaging had never seen a horse before. I guess they were trying to save money?! But I can promise you I will never buy this again until they fix their applicators. At least their competitor still uses the graduated squeeze tube so I know how much I am administering to my horse and it dribbles out nicely instead of squirting everywhere. This new packaging causes it to get all over your hands and everywhere EXCEPT the place they want you to put it and then I end up running out before I can even finish all the spots on the horse that I’m supposed to put it!! How on earth am I supposed to get it on his underbelly without making him lay down and roll over?! I’m sorry but my horse is not trained to do that. I will absolutely never buy this garbage again until they fix their packaging. Thank God their competitor hasn’t changed their applicators! And believe me I don’t give up easily, I thought maybe I could learn how to do this and it just took practice but after six times with the same results I am so frustrated disappointed and I feel absolutely cheated out of a lot of money. I can’t believe anybody is giving this applicator any sort of decent review. That leads me to believe that those aren’t real people and they are AI or they are magical horse trainers that if somehow convinced there are 1500 pound animal to lay on its back just so they can apply the medicine with this moronic applicator. I am convinced that whoever designed this never actually tried it. This is RIDICULOUS and you’ve lost a customer unless you go back to your old applicators.

Works well on most of my horses, but not all.
This product is pretty good. It does keep flies and mosquitoes and ticks off the horses. Out of 8 horses, 6 are able to use this product with ease. Two of the 8 are allergic to it. I have used it twice on these two horses and each time, it irritates their skin to the point of them scratching the applied areas raw trying to get it off. The other six are blissfully without pests. This does not work for horseflies.
