Great way to ensure safety and effectiveness of reverse osmosis water systems!We use this meter to ensure our RO system is adequately filtering our drinking water. Itâs easy to use and takes just a few minutes. Not to mention, this has saved us time and money over changing out filters prematurely.The meter is easy to read, and appears to be accurate as we compared it to another TDS meter we have. It seems to be well built and functions as expected.

Fits my hand well
My brother says this is a good tester and that I made a good choice. It comes in a clear plastic case for storage and there’s a half-sheet sized instruction guide paper that tells you how to use the buttons and recalibrate the tool, though there is no calibration fluid included, you have to get your own.The tester fits solidly in the case with no rattling around and no risk of it popping out unexpectedly. The case itself snaps firmly shut. And there’s a little cut out on the back of the case so that you can hang it if from a small hook if you want.

Works as described, good to have for your pool, spa or even drinking water testing.
Useful to test solids and contaminants in your drinking water, pool or whatever water you need to test.The meter is easy to use and the led is easy to read. Comes in a nice storage box. The testing prongs are covered, and there is a cap on the test end. The instructions tell you how the meter functions and once you have the water sample tested, you can just push a button to read the ppm, ec or tds. It also shows the temperature of the water sample.We used a chart found online to compare the readings and determine the water status via the test results.This meter measures solids in your water. Not bacteria or contaminants of microscopic size. It is useful for salt water pools to or regular pools to test for debris or other non-viral contaminants in ppm, parts per million, or ec, electrical conductivity, high ec reveals contamination.The meter seems accurate and a good value for the cost and it just works.

Manual does not mention how to calibrate
The manual mentions being able to calibrate the meter, but the manual does not say how. I happen to already know how from using a past meter, but most people are not going to know there’s a potentiometer inside to adjust with a screwdriver much less what quantity of salt to mix with distilled water to make calibration solution. Calibrating the meter is important, and the number it provides simply can’t be trusted if you cannot verify it with calibration solution.

Simple water tester
This is a cool water tester that is easy to use and easy to read. I have tested it against other similar devices and have found it to be mostly accurate and quality made. It is functional and a good value for the money however, I do wish that it had more functions such as reading the pH of water, which it does not do. For the most part, it is a good for what it does but it is simple with very few functions.

Easy to use TDS meter
I ordered this TDS meter to test the well water at our ranch. The test is easy to use and takes only a second or two for the reading. The backlight on the display makes it easy to read. This test gave us peace of mind knowing that our well water is safe to drink and use. This meter comes with a storage case, a removable cover for the tip of the meter, and instructions. The battery life appears good and is still working after using it several times. The meter appears accurate and functions very well. At less than $9 at the time of this review, this is a very good value for the money. I recommend this TDS meter.

I don’t have any way to test the accuracy, but I compared it to two other brands: One is the HM Digital TDS-3, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VTQM70, which has 1.565 ratings as of this writing, and you can scroll through and find the results of at least one person who tested the accuracy of it. The other is the WaterFirst TDS meter, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJ95N9Z3, which I also got on Amazon Vine.The three photos are from tap water (through two whole-house sediment filters), sediment/carbon/RO/carbon under-the-sink filtered water, and a mix of about half tap and half filtered water.So, take that all as you may. This is just tap and filtered drinking water in my case, so I don’t need a lot of precision in the measurement; therefore, I am content with this product.I checked the battery and it is one CR2032 battery.Also see the three photos of the case. It is actually a very nice, solid plastic case that secures the TDS meter inside of it with grip tabs, has a locking tab on the outside, and has a screw-mount accommodation.As a Vine reviewer, I am expected to post a review promptly after receiving the product, so of course can say nothing about longevity; however, the construction looks good.
