Reptile Mister Automatic Misting System Installation Notes
1. The max length of the inlet pipe should be no more than 1m to insure the pump maintains the best suction power.
2. Install 2 nozzles to achieve the best spray effect. Do not add extra nozzles.
3. In order to avoid continuous dripping from the nozzle after the pump is turned off (siphon effect), please set the height of the water tank position below the nozzle.
4. The length of the discharge pipe connecting the nozzle to the pump should not be too long.”
5. The inlet and outlet pipes should be connected to the pump tightly to avoid water inside the machine due to the lack of tight connection.

works better than expected
I’ve been using this for a couple months now and I think it works great for the price point it’s at.It comes with instructions that are blurry but legible, two nozzles, tubing, pump, tube cutter, a USB wire and a usb outlet charging cube, plus a couple other things. Keep in mind: it does NOT include its own water reservoir! You will need a bucket filled with water, or something similar, to stick the pump into!While it does NOT come with its own water reservoir (I didn’t expect it to; it’s cheaper to get a 5 gallon bucket from a home improvement store anyways) and there’s some dripping once it shuts off, I appreciate that the instructions were clear, that the suction works well, and it’s relatively quiet.It comes with two nozzles, and while it’s only recommended to use two, I have been able to use 4 without issue. (I don’t recommend going outside factory recommendations, but I was okay with the risk of breaking any warranty by doing so. Your own mileage may vary.) In terms of being a set, it’s basically “plug and play” in that it has 90% of all you’d need to set a mister up — again the only thing that’s missing is a water reservoir. (Pretty sure it’s cheaper to buy a bucket and this separately, than it is to buy the brand name sets with all the accessories required.) The scheduling/timing system on it is fairly simple to understand as well, which is what made me purchase this particular system over others.The touch screen is very sensitive, and not a lot of pressure is needed to adjust it. In fact, it might be too sensitive — when the screen faces down and brushes up against the wire mesh of my skink’s enclosure, it adjusts the settings. The screen is fairly bright too, so if you have it in a room that you’re sleeping in, make sure you either face the screen away so it doesn’t disturb you at night.Overall, I think it’s good value for the price point. Misting systems can be expensive, and this is a good budget system. You will need to DIY your water reservoir, ways to hang up the tubing from the ceiling of an enclosure (such as wire ties), and depending on the size of your enclosure you may need to purchase more nozzles (Which, again, the manufacturer doesn’t recommend, but again, I’ve had no issues so far in my 2 months of use). If you’re looking for budget and you’re ok with some DIY, I’d recommend this mistig system.EDIT, AUG 15 2025: After many months of use without changing settings, it seems that the spray length timer won’t spray the actual length of time you set, and will get shorter. Unsure why this is. However, I found that pressing the power button and cycling back to the setting I want will reset this issue.

Best humidifier ever found and half the price!!!
I just received this humidifier today and am absolutely tickled pink with this thing! I’m using it for my ball python and it’s pictured wall mounted next to his 40 gallon tank. I’ve always bought the black and clear tank that sits on the floor next to it (that costs around $70-80) and after having this for 1 day this thing blows those other ones out of the water.Pros:WALL MOUNTED! It was always difficult to find a good place to set the old ones and I always ended up with a lot of hosing flopping around. This humidifier has a mounting kit to use with screws or it has a sticky, nail free panel that you can use. I had my doubts whether it would hold it when full of water but the sticky nail-free option has it mounted firmly. It looks so much nicer mounted next to the tank on the wall than having hoses running up from the floor!Silent operation- it doesn’t make even the slightest sound.Tons of programmable options:-Intermittent misting in cycles of 30, 60, or 90 seconds on then off to allow moisture to settle and avoid soaking the substrate.You can also set it to run in alternating 1, 2, 4, or 8 hour cycles.- Sleep mode which can be entered without disruption of the cycles and programming you’ve already set.- constant humidity key and hygrometer that allows you to run it until the ambient humidity reaches whatever you set it at.- water shortage alarm and automatic shut off function to protect the motor from burning up.CONS:The instructions are vague and you have to figure a lot out on your own- this thing has a definite learning curve as the settings are fairly complicated.That’s all I can think of for cons, this humidifier is awesome.Lastly I’m not sure what the other reviewer was referring to as far as having to reprogram it every day- it definitely allows you to set it and forget it once you figure it out.And at $40 you can’t go wrong- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Works good for awhile
Just orderedy third one from this brand. They work pretty well for a couple months but eventually water fills up the little box and ruins the touch screen. The last two times I had the pump above my water water jug. I’m going to put this one under it and see if that changes anything. Good for the price though. The water nozzles are all metal and well made.

Does not work at all
Purchased this several months ago as I was planning to set up a new tank. This past weekend I finally got around to putting everything together just as the directions and videos online showed. The pump will not prime and spray at all. I have tried running it for the 4 seconds at a time that it allows for several minutes straight with not even a drop of water coming out of the open nozzles. I tried sucking the water up to the pump to ensure it was in the line and still no water from the outlet side. I have tried moving the water source higher and lower but still no water from the outlet. This pump absolutely will not hold any sort of prime nor does it produce any suction to pull the water through. I wish I would have opened it sooner to at least test it as I could have returned it but instead I trusted for the money spent it would have worked out of the box at least for a few months⦠vey disappointed and will definitely never buy again.
