As with most of these heat bulbs the lifespan depends on use. They are not notorious for lasting much longer than a year. Good value for two and they do get hot. I am using them to keep starter plants warmer when it’s cold out for a couple hours a day, they should last long enough.

Ball python LOVES.
Tried these out for our ball python. She has been coming out a lot more and basking under this bulb! I think she really likes it so I am happy! Great value for the price and the heat admitted has been consistent. I hope these have a decent lifespan. The size and brightness are as expected. Functional for our girl and will be purchasing more in the future. Hope this helps!

Good, long lasting heat lamp bulbs for chameleon.
These 75 watt basking bulbs fit perfectly in the basking lamp, and offer just the right amount of heat, and light, for the chameleon set up. Comes as a 2 pack, you should always have an extra on hand, makes this a good value. They are a good quality bulb, and they last longer than my previous bulbs. Happy with this order.

Better than expected!
so far it is performing well, longevity is the key question though. it does output adequate heat! and the fact that it is a two-pack is great- especially if its mishandled during shipping, you essentially have a backup. i will report back when it burns out. Arcadia bulbs that i typically use last me a year and a half, so if these last a year i will be more than satisfied as its a two pack for the price of one arcadia 75w bulb (after shipping). It is bright as well.PLEASE NOTE, In the photo you will see pink hues from the Barrina plant growth lights i have for the enclosure- that pink tint is NOT from these bulbs. the light emission of these bulbs is a sunny yellow-white.

Our lamp burnt out unexpectedly so we ordered this one. Came the next day! it was the perfect size. After screwing it in, we could feel the heat being generated. It was been 2-3 months and this bulb is still functioning perfect! great quality. It has lasted longer than other bulbs we have gotten at local chain pet stores

Gets way too hot
Gets way too hot. I put this in a 120 gallon and put in another temp checker for which said the tank was 125 degrees which is way too hot.
