My Zoas are Opening!
I tested for iodide and it was zero. Corals werenât really opening, especially zoos. Now, theyâre starting to open.

Great product but as with most Salifert tests, it is time consuming and involves a lot of steps. I guess thats the tradeoff though for a quality accurate test.

Iâve always been very happy with other test kits made by salifert that Iâve used. This one is the exception. Totally useless. Always shows iodine as undetectable. The package inserts are trash. Cheaply printed plain uncoated paper which isnât great when working with water. Sorry but I cannot recommend this particular test kit by salifert. Save your money

Unreliable at best.
It’s an iodine testing kit. This is the first one I have purchased. I bought this after doing a lab test of my water and finding out my iodine levels were undetectable. As with any supplement to your aquarium please, please, please, never dose elements without being able to test what you are dosing. The only real issue I have with this test kit is it seems very amateurishly put together. In addition, you have to compare colors that are so close to the same hue it is maddening. That is when you are even able to get a color, which is never a for sure thing. Many people will tell you testing for iodine is a waste of time, I would agree with this sentiment as long as you are not dosing iodine.

My iodine test kit missing a 12-1 solution I got one of 12-2 and 2 of 12-3. So where is my 12-1 solution? And this item can not be returned. it goes to the trash can waste my money is not cheap

Test Kit Falls Short
Salifert, for the most part, make quality and affordable test kits for the reef hobbyist.Unfortunately this is not one of them.Hard to compare color; that is if you are lucky enough to even get a color.This is my second bad experience with an Iodine test kit.Many hobbyists will tell you not to waste time with an Iodine test kit.They are right
