Perfect light mount for rimless tanks
Looked everywhere for something that was functional and looked great. For reference, I have a fluval plant 2.0 on a 25 cube. This is the only option I have found that has a clamp for lights!The construction is solid. All pieces are metal besides the clamp and 2 plastic screws for the mounted piece. There are no instructions, so it did take a bit of figuring out but not very difficult by any means. Just need a screw driver and the provided tool to get everything done. For something I bought without a review, pleasantly surprised!!

No instructions, returning
I am returning this item. It seems well built I guess. But it doesnât come with instructions. It has me very nervous that me guessing how it is put together based on photos, I worry that something will come apart and drop down on my glass aquarium. Would not recommend.

Stout and good quality!!
I love these hangers. They were the perfect option for my shallow tank lights. I have tried 7 others and had to return them. These are very well made and stout. You do have to be careful on not stripping the mind plastic screws that hold the light but other than that they are perfect. I have two right now. One on my shallow cube and one on my shallow long tank. On that tank I took some bolt cutters to cut the length down.( in pictures) and have ordered 1/4″ rubber screw caps to place over them so there are no sharp edges. Don’t listen to the reviews that said theres no instructions you don’t need and just common sense.. I just purchased a 3rd set for another long shallow tank. We’ll worth the money.

Effective. Works on cheap nicrew and high-end twinstar lights
Works for cheap low end lights like hygger or nicor found on amazon. It also firmly holds the high-end twinstar EA lights (it would likely hold other twinstar lights). The plastic claws are stable and will hold a low end light. However these plastic claws do not feel durable.. i would advise caution when using them. I have reservations as my twinstar ea light is hot. I hope it does not melt the plastic claws. I remedied this by putting a piece of insulation sheet where the plastic claws contact the twinstar light.The stand is elegant and looks good aesthetically.I use this light on a rimless tank. I have not tried on a rimmed tank.It does not come with instructions. So you have to figure out how to assemble it.It Works. For the price paid, this item is a steal. Time will tell if it holds up. For now, i give it a 5.
