The color of the stone is a natural color. When added to the water, it will turn into a deeper, darker black closer to the natural landscape.
[Usage Suggestion]: When applied in aquarium landscaping, the suggested amount of pounds required = 2 x Tank volume in gallons.
For other application scenarios, refer to the above dosage as appropriate.
How do get black lava rock to sink?
Icelandic Lava Stones are porous, which may hold air inside, causing them to have buoyancy and float in the water. In such a case, soak them in water for 1~3 days, wait for the air to be evacuated.hot water may speed up the air expulsion.
Is it normal if there is an odor?
It is normal if the stone in the package has a peculiar smell. The stone has volatile alkaline organic matter in its natural state. The peculiar smell will disappear if you put them in a ventilated place to dry for 24 ~ 48 hours.
The stone has sand and dust, causing the water to become cloudy what to do?
Use a small brush to gently sweep away the sand and dust on the surface before putting it into the tank and then rinse it with clean water.
Is the stone purely natural and does it have any chemicals?
Black lava is of volcanic origin and is rich in minerals and trace elements.It is naturally formed without any added chemicals.
Is it PH inert?
yes,Its ph is very close to neutral, except for particularly strict requirements of the environment. .After water changes to stabilize the water, It is stable in nature and does not affect aquarium’s composition or increase the hardness of the water.

These are beautiful. After reading horror stories about receiving pulverized dirt, small rocks, etc. I was nervous about this – I let these soak overnight and hardly any dust. The two largest rocks are on the bottom, 6 inches and at least 3 inches wide. You can see a couple of others behind the plant where little miss laid her eggs. If you are looking at these you care about your tank, and youâve come to the right site. Thank you for the care in packing! Also, Iâd order these by themselves- Amazon put my other order in the same box, nothing that could be broken but stillâ¦

Quality hardscape
Excellent group of lava stones. Buying something like rocks for hardscape sight-unseen is a gamble to be sure, but I was very pleased with both the selection of stones I received and how quickly I received them.

Received the package on time and everything was well packaged and individually wrapped. Seller even includes information on the rocks in the package. Only reason I didnât leave a perfect 5 Iâd one of the larger stones was largely covered in an unattractive mineral (or other stone material?). None of the other stones in the package had this issue.

Pretty good for a little extra money compared to some others on Amazon. Wish there could have been a bigger piece but thatâs what super glue is for! Febreze bottle for scale.The stone is dense as well and not comprised of small stones held together by clay (like some dragon stone Iâve bought). All in all- solid purchase.

Pleasantly surprised. Beautiful rocks. I’d say they weigh what feels like more than 17 lbs but I don’t have a scale to weigh. Each rock came wrapped individually in paper.

I really like those stones.I received less (but larger) stones than what I expected from the pictures, however, it’s something the company mentions in their description, so at the end I’m very happy.It’s been a while now and the stones are still there and fit the landscape really well.
