Great combination basking and hiding spot for reptiles
Iâm using this platform for my bearded dragon, and it has been a great addition to her enclosure. The slate rock surface provides a solid, flat basking area that holds heat well under the lamp and helps file the toenails as she moves around, while the hollow base doubles as a hideout. She hasn’t gone under there very often yet but I anticipate she will choose that spot to brumate when the time comes. Itâs essentially two essentials in one pieceâboth a basking spot and a shelterâwhich makes good use of tank space.The design looks natural in the habitat, blends in well with other décor, and is very easy to wipe down and clean. It feels sturdy enough to handle daily use, and the size works well for medium to larger reptiles.For anyone setting up a reptile enclosure, this is a practical and attractive accessory.
