Great for chewers!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The dog bed is great because if you have a chewer at home there is no way for them to reach the ends of the bed and the material is not very comfortable for a dog to scratch with their nails. This is exactly the economical option many dog owners can appreciate if their dogs chew the regular beds. Durability:5Washability:5

I have two Australian Sheppard, and French bull dog mix, go figure, and they haven’t torn those beds up yet, they can tear up everything else, but those beds. Good job ð

Great dog bed!
My 11 month old Frenchie chewed up 3 dog beds before we got this one. It has metal supports and a canvas bed (and the cutest paw feet). Thereâs really nowhere to chew so this is definitely a winner!!

Truly Indestructible â Finally a Dog Bed That Lasts!
Iâve gone through more dog beds than I care to admitâmy pup is a determined chewer and loves to dig and tear at anything soft. I was skeptical, but the Indestructible Dog Bed (more like a cot) has truly lived up to its name.From day one, itâs held up against scratching and chewing. The material is tough but still comfortable enough for my dog to curl up and nap on. Cleanup is a breeze tooâit wipes down easily and doesnât hold onto smells like some of the plush ones do.If you have a destructive dog and youâre tired of wasting money on beds that get shredded in days, this is 100% worth the investment. My only regret is not getting it sooner.Note: fits perfectly into our Extra Large dog crate. Our Dogs weight is 100 pounds.Â

My old dogâs new favorite bed
This is a tough, high quality dog bed. Itâs exactly as advertised, and it really feels a lot more durable, solid, and rugged than other elevated dog beds weâve owned over the years. Itâs not as saggy as those, either, but itâs not really intended to be a hammock-style bed. This is mostly flat and firm, though itâs got a lot of cushioning. The product page calls it a âcot,â and I agree with that characterization.Assembly is straightforward and takes about five minutes, and everything aligns nicely.That said, there are two things about this bed to be aware of.First, the sizing is not quite what I expected. The dimensions in the item listing include the frame assembly, which, as hard metal, may not be usable by your dog. Knock off about two inches each for the length and width to get the usable surface area. (Our old bubba, at 90ish pounds, is just small enough to enjoy this bed, but heâs a tough customer and often lets his paws, legs, and head dangle off the metal edges.)Second, the cloth covering is LOUD. If your dog moves around a lot or has particularly active dreams, youâre going to hear about it. Thatâs fine with me, but it may be an issue for you.As for comfort, our dog is elderly and arthritis-ridden, and he chooses this bed over his âorthopedic foam mattressâ bed more often than not. Whether thatâs because itâs elevated or better ventilated or cooler or softer or more supportive, I donât know. It doesnât matter, either. The bottom line is he likes it. And if he likes it, I like it.I havenât been able to assess the anti-chew properties of this bed since our dog isnât a chewer (anymore), but I canât imagine most dogs would be too keen to gnaw like crazy on thick hunks of cold metal. I have no reason to question the chew-proof claims. Raised dog bed
I got this raised dog bed for my pup and he loves it. The bed feels sturdy and supports him well, which is great since heâs getting older. The waterproof padding is easy to clean, and the chew-proof design gives me peace of mind. It keeps him nice and cool in the summer and off the cold floor in the winter. The only small thing is the metal frame makes it a bit heavy to move around, but it stays stable really well once set up.
