This gets a ton of use in my multi-cat household. Itâs a great Halloween decoration as well. Would purchase again when-not if- it gets worn out

Great scratch post, but the base is not wide enough
This is a great little cat scratch post. My cats absolutely love it and it’s pretty cool looking. I gave it four stars only because the base just is not big enough. My cats can’t reach all the way to the top and get a good stretch on it because they pull it over on top of them. There’s no room on the base for them to use their body weight to hold it down while stretching out and scratching. For now, I have it wedged under a piece of furniture so that it doesn’t topple over on top of them. Eventually, I will get a larger piece of particle board, cover it in red fabric, and bolt it to the bottom.

This was really easy to assemble and fits almost anywhere. It’s perfect for a Halloween or Gothic accent. It stands about hip high and offers a good amount of play time for both you and your friend! Good quality materials and very sturdy!

Spiders Not Suitable For Cats
very cute and great size however i really wish the spiders attached by string were of a toy material. they are incredibly solid/hard. when my cat played with them from the ground, she pulled the elastic down and theyâd snap back and hit her. she broke off one of the legs and was walking around with it in her mouth. luckily i found it before she swallowed, as again it is incredibly solid and would certainly cause a bowel obstruction. cutting off the spiders was the obvious solution, but now it is more âboringâ for her, she only scratches and moves on rather than spending some time playing and interacting with it.the spiders are really not suitable as pet toys, or really anything other than a display item.

Cute but replace the spiders with actual cat toys
Very cute but the flocked spiders are dangerous. I plucked off the plastic rhinestone eyes of the spiders because I knew those would come off too easily when my cat played with them. The 3rd time he played with them I had to remove the spiders entirely after my cat broke one of the legs off and almost swallowed it. I’m going to replace them with catnip cat toy spiders and recommend everyone do the same.
