Cat Scratcher
My cats loved it. I particularly like how it doesn’t pop out. It screws in and stays in place. My last one always came out. The stand is very steady too.

Donât buy unless you want to make a new base
To start with, the cats loved this. However, the plastic base broke quickly, and the little toyâs metal stem bends with no effort. It was bent over anlmost immediately. Every part is cheaply made. I had to replace the base to keep using the brush. Three stars for idea, the rest were left out for poor construction.

Best product of its kind
My 15-year old 19 pound cat loves this arch brush! It is much sturdier than the two previous brands that we have bought. The brush is larger and stiffer; and it is designed so that it locks into the base. The base does slide around unless the cat is sitting on it, but you can brace a corner or side under an area rug or a chair leg.She isn’t a very playful cat but she does like the butterfly on this.

Worth it
My cats are always getting into things trying to scratch themselves. This works great. The only downside is the butterfly toy is very flimsy and only lasted a couple of play sessions.

Temporary solution that quickly could become a risk
Works ok for my rather large cat. Must stabilize against furniture. It slides on concrete floor. I think both cats mostly chew the bristles. I’m sure this is risky and will soon throw away. Safety first. The butterfly was broken the first day and metal poking out. I removed the danger. I suggest leaving out flimsy decorative material that could be ingested or impaled.

Update… Cat now loves it!
Cat initially ignore this… Then one day discovered she could brush herself. It’s now a morning ritual, cat rubs her head… stands patiently while I brush her. Shocked since my cat is feral !
