A product that actually WORKS!!
I have a 75 Gallon Cichlid tank. I started from scratch with setting everything up and I had never had such a hard time with cycling before this tank. Cichlids are dirty fish.This product is AMAZING. Not only does it clear up the water, but it aerates the water very well!Itâs definitely worth the money. Itâs no more noisy than a regular bubbler and all I had to do to install it was screw the top, submerge it, and plug it in.The pictures are from day 1 and day 4.

Good working filter.
It’s quiet and powerful.It keeps my fish tank so clean and crystal clear. I have 4 extremely large fishes in my tank and they eat 24/7 produce ton of fish waste every day. I used to clean the fish tank every week and it took me 2 hours each time but with this filter, I probably clean it once a month now. No algaes, no debris and water is crystal clear. I highly recommend it.

Okay to be clear on this product, I am not paid for this review whatsoever. I see all the review discrepancies and this product is amazing but you have to have it perfectly in the right placement. This UV filter is a life saver for any tank, however, itâs quirky in the sense that it needs to be a specific level in your tank and with a specific amount of water levelization or it will stop working all together. You do have to play with the placement inside the tank (move it up and down a tinch) and play with your water levels (volume wise as adding more or less water to your tank) a little but it will come back to life 100 percent. Use an extension cord as well to allow more access to move it accordingly. When you do thisâ it works perfectly. The UV additions to my canister did not do the job this guy does.

Fantastic remedy for bacterial blooms
Does what itâs supposed to do with ease!I had a significant bacterial bloom in my 20g nano reef tank that was getting out of hand. I knew I needed a UV on this system but was on the fence on which one to get. I took a gamble on this, even though I knew it wouldnât fit in my AIO chambers. HOLY COW! Less than 72 hours after dropping it in the tank and plugging it in, water is Clear!This is not a high quality piece of gear, but it works for its intended purpose and is an extreme bargain over higher end UV systems.If you donât intend to run UV all the time and need to remedy a current problem, I have no hesitation in recommending this. I have taken mine out for now as I hate having gear in the display area, but Iâll run it from time to time as/if needed

I bought this for my turtle tank and I have to be honest this was the best Iâve ever seen the tank clear. I wish I wouldâve taken a before but I forgot to. But what I can say is as far as being clear it does just that. As far as catching big debris it gets stuck at the back of the filter and doesnât suck into it which could be a good thing. However the air pump wonât work for me which is a bummer but I have one in there already so Iâm not as upset. The filter lets out very fast current so for fish Iâd say no donât get it BUT IF YOU HAVE A TURTLE THIS IS GREAT! And if you struggle with foggy water this is perfect! Just know it is very strong. So after the water clear just turn it off if you have small fish! And purchase a small air pump to have on for your fish.

Great UV filter pump,,, so far
So far, I like this UV filter pump, it’s better than a brand I bought earlier, with this one I can turn the UV light on and off easily and for as long as I want on or off, the top part comes apart easily so I can remove and clean the filter sponge, i also found that I can order replacement bulbs and sponges if needed, with the other brand I couldn’t order replacement bulbs or remove the filter sponge to clean, I just ordered another one of these for my other tank.

Works really well. I purchased another one because I thought you are suppose to see bubbles when on. But thatâs only if you hook it to an air pump. Not enough information or directions come with it. I actually was going to take the second one out because I thought it was broken , and I reach I the tank and could feel the strength of the water being filter. Just couldnât see it.So now I have two.ð

UPDATE1: I had to do a water change today as it was time and I stopped the filter just like I always do to avoid any issues. I changed out the water and filled the tank back up. Once again the aeration stopped working. I don’t understand why it’s not working though it is rather frustrating as this was one of the things I wanted. I have to say I’m a little disappointed with this.I got this when my old filter system fell apart. The installation was easy and at first it really was working well and I was happy with it. About a day later my daughters told me that it was “spitting” and I went to look. The aeration wasn’t working like it was in the beginning. I couldn’t figure out why as I hadn’t done anything with it. It was disappointing and I pulled the system out and cleaned it (even though it had only been a day) and put it back together. Luckily it was really quite easy to pull out and clean and get back in. After I re-installed it the aeration still didn’t work that well though I was able to get it to work a little. I will say the suction cups on this thing are amazing. They old everything on tight. I do with the unit I got came with a flow director like the larger ones. It does look fine in the tank where I have it and doesn’t seem to take away from the rest of the tank. For the money I spent I’m not too disappointed and I’m looking forward to see how it works with the UV light to help clean the tank. It does seem to work pretty well overall.

This isn’t what you want for the price. Everything about it is cheap, cheap, cheap, and I doubt if it would pass CSA electrical compliance. The suction cup mount slides off way too easily, filter body below the motor falls off easily if not careful. The UV bulb has hairline cracks in it, and the wiring connections seem rather sketchy in my opinion. UV bulb is cheaply mounted in the unit. Unit has two power cords that are so short, they are useless and require extension cords if your outlet isnt right at the tank level. The cover on the powerhead always falls off … it could have been so good and yet the cheaped out on everything

I bought this filter as I have an algea/bacterial bloom and undersand the UV light might help. As others reviewed, its not a very complicated piece of equipment, there is a plug for the pump and seperate a plug for the light. I removed a star so far as the cords are short, with my aquarium on a stand, they barely reach the power bar. The jet at the lowest level is too powerful for my 55 gallon, I would argue for even a bigger aquarium. I would not leave it on all the time but if it helps with my bacterial bloom, I will keep it for when I need it.

Did exactly what I needed it to. The tank went into a bloom while we were away and the house sitter wasnât knowledgeable enough to deal with it. We got home on a Monday, this was delivered Wednesday and by Saturday with 1 25% water change it was crystal clear again. Now itâs off and ready for the next battle
