Customers say
Customers find the litter scoop works well for cleaning tanks and appreciate its durability, describing it as sturdy enough to sift through sand and built like a Mack Truck. Moreover, the product makes cleaning easier and is particularly effective for gerbils’ sand baths. However, customers disagree on the size, with some finding it ideal while others say it’s too small. Additionally, the litter sifting capability receives mixed feedback – while some find it good for scooping poop, others note it only works with sand-like substrates.

SMALL Quality Scoop
Giving this scoop 5 stars, because it is sturdy and seems well made, but with a added note that I did not pay attention to the size. This thing is SMALL, and would work well for small terrariums, but not well for anything else really. But it DOES state the size all on the packaging and description, so it was a consumer error.

Great product!
Perfect size! Does great with the little small particles left behind from bigger cat scooper.

Works well. Kinda small
I donât use this for kitty litter but rather my tortoise tank and keeping his environment clean. It works well sifting out the larger pieces of debris and leaves behind the smaller. Itâs design is perfect for the small amount that is necessary for his enclosure but might be on the small side for kitty litter

I out-smarted myself!
This IS great for your lizard, but for the cat’s [“clumping-litter”] box, the holes a just a wee-wee bit small. It LOOKS so great, and is built like a Mack Truck[!]. SO0o. . . I actually got out my power drill and drilled MOST of the holes a wee-bit larger so the larger litter particles pass through the holes, but, NOT the smaller bits of pooh & clumpt-pee.Highly recommended for your lizard. But! If you want this for your kitty, you’ll need a block of wood; quarter-inch drill-bit, and a power-drill.I like this new addition to the house. The cat couldn’t care less, but even my wife thinks the modification was worth the effort.R E C O M M E N D E D !

Great poop scoop for Reptile cage!
The plastic is heavier than I expected, but that’s actually a good thingâit feels sturdy and durable. It’s the perfect size for cleaning my bearded dragonâs cage. My 13-year-old uses it without any issues and says it makes the job a lot easier. Definitely recommend for reptile owners!

Find a wider hole for kitty litter
I bought this to scoop litter, but also not…. let me clear this up.I’m currently fostering five kittens and their mother. In addition to those six I have three cats of my own. While the mom was being spayed, I brought the babies into my living space and everybody’s cohabitating well, however, every single cat, all eight of them are using the same litter box, despite the fact that there are multiple to choose from. In order to keep things cleaner and tidier, I have resorted to a stainless steel litter box, However, that doesn’t prevent any smaller, dirty pieces of litter from falling through my scoop. So I thought this might do the trick. Scoop with a normal poop scoop, get all of the big stuff out and then use a smaller scoop, with smaller holes, for those other pieces that are too small for my scoop to pick up. Unfortunately it did not. These holes are much too small for the scoopable clumping cat litter to go through. So if you are like me and have the same problem, pass on this because you’re just wasting your time.I’m sure for sand and reptile enclosures. This works perfectly to clean the substrate. I don’t actually know since that’s not why I purchased it which is why I gave it the three star rating.

Worth the price!
This scooper is inexpensive and looks really nice. It works great with the substrate that’s in our beardie’s tank and makes cleanup every morning super simple and fast!

Perfect for use with a litterbox for a Holland Lop bunny
Perfect size for scooping out poop or wet litter paper from a litter box used by a 3 pound Holland Lop bunny. This works very well whereas small/mini dust pans and brooms or traditional cat litter box scoopers do not.
