Easy and Simple
Rigging this up is very easy, especially with the velcro strips included. The probe might focus in on your hand temperatures when setting it up, but if left alone for a few minutes, it levels out and does very well. Good price, too.

Great thermometer, great price.
This works great and has given us a sense of security with our reptiles. It looks nice so it is no problem having it on display on top of our tanks in the living room. It reads accurately and is a great price.

Does the job of measuring temps, but a big problem
There’s no ability to turn off the device to save battery. You can manually remove the battery cover and remove the battery. Pray that you remember where you put the battery or hope nobody in your family throws it away, etc.It also sucks that this only clips onto the Exo Terra horizontal fixture and not my brand-new Exo Terra 18 x 18 x 24 enclosure. I’ll still buy Exo Terra products and recommend them, though…

A little pricey, but works with all the other products. Happy with this easy to read thermostat. Marries up with the exo terra top easily for a seamless product.

Great surface temp thermometer
I trust these thermometers. They’re not the cheapo ones, and they’re very consistent. Also easy to read. I have 2 in my bearded dragon cage and the hygrometer/thermometer combo in my crested gecko cage. At night time when all the lights are out they all read about the same in the same room. For basking animals it’s so important to know how hot the actual surface that they’re standing/laying on is. These are the right thermometers for the job.

Seems accurate, matches thermostat on my hermit crab heater. Recommend always cover your probe with something or put it out of reach, my crabs eat them. Must have spent 100 dollar by now on probes by now just for this reason.

Perfect for a Quick Temp Check
This is Perfect for the Dual canopy it’s a slider and slides right in on top of the canopy, so when I want to check on the temp of my Gecko’s enclosure, the temp is big, and within eyesight, so I can see at a glance a digital readout. I really reccomend for the Exoterra Dual canopy. Great product.
