Well-made and sturdy – You should by this one.
This is a very well-made harness! I reviewed every harness on Amazon (including all reviews of each) before choosing this one. What makes it great is that it’s sturdy, the plastic clasp (which they all seem to have) is larger than most and seems stronger). Also, once you clip it in, there is a cloth piece that comes across it and snaps into place to, I assume, help keep the clasp from pulling out or breaking. It just gives it some extra hold. I suggest you buy this one, but the guidelines they give for sizing is all off. I have a 2-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix who is tall and 78 pounds. I measured her neck and her chest just like they ask, and her measurements showed she clearly needed a “Medium.” I didn’t think that was right, so I looked and looked at the reviews and photos of the dogs people posted and sizes they bought, and I decided on an X-tra Large for my dog. This one fit her perfectly! From what I’d read, it seems that even thought the strap around the chest is adjustable, if you get it too small, the part that comes across the neck can be too small and thus land in the wrong spot on the dog’s neck and choke the dog. This front piece is supposed to actually fall below the neck (as you see in the main photo). I wanted one that my dog could not pull backwards and pull out of, as many harnesses are easy to pull out of. It seemed that she couldn’t pull out of this one, but when we went to the vet the other day, right inside the door she began pulling backwards trying to back herself out the door, and the harness did pull off over her head. I had it not real tight under her chest as I didn’t want her to not be able to easily breathe in and out, so maybe I should have had it a little tighter (I’ve since slightly tightened it). I still believe it works better and stays on better than any other harness I’ve tried. And, it seems to be exceptionally well made. I have been using this for two months and my dog pulls like a sled dog! She quit pulling when I first used it on her, but then she began pulling again, so it doesn’t stop the pulling, but I think I just need to properly train her for that. She is getting better. By the way, I have no connection with the manufacturer of this and am not paid to write a review. Since I spent hours and hours reviewing ALL of the harnesses on Amazon, I just wanted to pass along this information to you, so you don’t have to spend the time I did to find the right one!

Highly Reccomend!
This is a great harness. Fits my 70-80lb German Shepherd perfect, adjustable and super comfy for him (even with his long hair). Good for everyday wear. Adjustments stay in place & the harness is very durable and strong. Nice double lock on the buckles and sturdy metal d-rings for leash attachment. Comes with matching collar. Reflective at night. If you are strong enough to hold back your dog when they’re on a squirell bender then this harness is strong enough for your dog! I have never been worried about the harness snapping under pressure or buckles coming apart like I have been with other harnesses. It also looks very sleek on & doesnt take away from your pups natural beauty. I have had 2 of these so far and they last a LONG time (the first one is still on excellent condition after over a year, I just wanted to have one in another color!) Highly reccomend!!

In just over 2weeks of daily use: So far so good! Will update down the road if anything.My 92lbs GSD doesn’t mind it once it on; doesn’t like things going over her head. Long snout and wide pointed ears need to get it on at a certain angle. Not a huge hassle.Nicely padded: No chafing discomfort under armpits compared to the Kugo we have. Buckles haven’t budged/ slid around since I first adjusted the straps to the correct sizing. Love that it has lock& unlock slides on each buckle as an extra precaution for our escape artists! Only down side: adjusting the right fit was a little of a hassle, because of how TIGHT the straps are; very secure at least!Outer exterior seems to have a moisture wick of sorts. She’s worn this playing in snow, rolling around and I’m always amazed to find it’s NEVER SOAKED through; just barely wet!She’s a puller, let me tell you, and both D-rings have withstood the force of a nearly 100lb dog SPRINTING. I also use the rear D-ring to fasten her seatbelt clip in the car. It’s kept her from flying fwd into the front and hasn’t shown signs of wear, yet.The REFLECTIVENESS is amazing, too! ***see photos/ video clip***We go on nightly runs and it helps keep us safer from cars. I will say that if your pup has a long back like mine, the harness only goes down 1/3 the length, so dont rely solely on it alone for safety. I always attach a bright yellow dog safety vest with reflective outlining to the harness handle to cover the rest.Bonus Features: The handle on the back is a great help for my stocky dog getting into the SUV. Also has 2 small loops on either side, so you can attach a water bowl/ food bowl, etc… with a carabiner if you wanted. PLUS it comes with a matching collar.All-in-all: great product (so far) EXCELLENT PRICE POINT and quality!!

Fits well /seems well made
My dog has a wide and deep chest so itâs been difficult to find a harness that will keep him from dragging me with him when he goes to chase a bunny. This harness fits snugly but is comfortable on him because all the straps against his body have padding underneath the straps. I havenât had to test it outside our backyard but it seems the front hook will work well to steer his body back towards me and not pull towards whatever he wants to chase since it fits him so well.

One Tough Harness!
This harness is super tough! Our 150lb mastiff broke four harnesses before we found this one. Easy to put on and take off, thick straps, and a super sturdy ring to clip in leashes and tie outs.Weâve gone 9 months with this harness with no problems.

Got this for my lab. Itâs been great. Iâve used this for years and itâs lasted well. My lab has since passed and now I use it for my Pyrenees and it works just as great. Very sturdy, easy to clean and adjustable in size. Will absolutely be using this brand again.

This is such a good harness and collar set. Perfect for a medium sized dog. I feel my dog is very secure after wearing this set. The color is lovely and looks like it wonât fade any time soon. Both collar and harness have a lock on the clips which ensure that they donât come off if the dog pulls hard. There is a hook on top and a handle which gives me more control over my dog. The only thing that could be better is for the dog needs to put her face through the harness to wear it and she doesnât enjoy that part much. Good value for money.

Extremely well made. It will be good for short coated dogs. I have a long coat German Shepherd and the coat rubs and after a couple of hours walking it start matting on his chest and under his front legs. Pity because the theory is good. I’m not sure if I should return it or sell it on eBay ð. I can’t really rate it fairly as it’s probably very good for short coated dogs, just not for long coated dogs
