Aquarium Organic Waste Breakdown: Efficiently decomposes fish waste, uneaten feed and plant debris to minimize organic buildup. Keep the water quality clean and stable.
Improves Water Clarity: Solve water quality problems caused by organic buildup. Breaks down sludge and organic buildup, reducing the frequency of grit cleaning and water changes. Keeps freshwater and saltwater fish tanks clean and reduces maintenance costs.
Widely Used: Perfect for new tank setup, water quality fluctuations, routine maintenance and fish recovery period. For example, too much fish excrement can easily lead to increased ammonia/nitrite. Regular use can help you stabilize the water quality of the aquarium.
Easy to Use: The bottle cap has a measuring design, just add it directly to the fish tank according to the indicated proportion. For new fish tank setup add 10 ml per 100 liters (26.5 gallons) of water daily for 3-5 days. For routine maintenance add 5 ml per 100 liters (26.5 gallons) of water once weekly.
Reliable: Gentle formula protects fish, plants and invertebrates. Suitable for freshwater tanks, saltwater tanks, and planted aquariums. If there is any problem with our product, please contact us, We are happy to help you.

Seems to be safe and works well!
I donât like adding random things to my tanks but I recently set up a small Fluval Betta tank to hatch corydoras eggs/raise fry in. Itâs so small with a slow flow that itâs been a nightmare to cycle, Iâve been just changing water every 2-3 days to lower ammonia. I figured Iâd test this Hygger PureDigest on this tank before adding to my others. I had some 4 week old emerald cory fry in there when I began and it did not affect them at all (and a few times I accidentally added too much). The water was getting a bit cloudy and within a day, this seemed to have cleared it up completely. It doesnât have a bad smell like Prime. It super easy to use, includes a measuring cup. Iâm not sure how effective it is with the cycle, as my tiny 2.6 gallon still isnât cycled. But it may have kept ammonia, nitrite and nitrate in check. The bottle is big still last a good while so I think itâs a good value. Judging by the water cloudiness going away upon use, Iâd say itâs an effective and safe product to have on hand for new tanks or maintenance.

My goldfish loves this stuff!
I have to confess that there are times when I am not on top of water changes as I should. And I can see it in the behavior of my little Queen – you can tell when she is annoyed at the water. I decided to try this product as I’ve come to trust the name of hygger after trying several of their products. I did not do the build up phase, went straight to maintenance, and I tried it in all my tanks – a 40g that hosts said goldfish royalty, a 10g shrimp+plants tank, and a 6.5g one that hosts a couple of geriatric guppies. All three tanks are doing great, but I was mostly impressed with the goldfish – she went from being a little pissed and lethargic (OK, she was still pretending to be starving to death, wasting away) to being her usual energetic self within a day. If it keeps my little colonies healthy and happy, it’s worth the money…
Mr Aloha Friday –
After my pseudo-scientific test I’m very satisfied and confident about putting it in my tank.
I’ve been an aquarium hobbyist since I was a teen in the 80’s. I’ve tried several Hygger products now, and am really starting to trust the brand and seek it out in my own purchases. The products are affordable yet reliable, and claims haven’t been overly exaggerated.Mrs Aloha Friday and I consider our tank inhabitants family. Even though Hygger is becoming a go-to brand more and more, I don’t just add anything to our tank (40 gallon breeder, Corydoras, Platys, Neocaridina shrimp, assorted snails) without being 100%. I also thought there was no possible way I could determine if the clarifier was doing what it promised unless I narrowed the scope of my experiment. If I added it to the whole tank it would be too hard to tell if the tank was just doing great because I’m an amazing fish dad, or if it was the product. 😉 There are SO many factors at play in a fish tank, it’s really hard to know if something is really working or not on its own, at least not within a few weeks.THE TEST:I chose to focus on the decomposition of fish waste, because that’s of great interest to me. We have platys that love to eat non-stop (and Mrs AF obliges too often), so they produce a lot of waste as a result.- I added a squirt of dirty aquarium water and fish waste to a small plastic cup during a cleaning with a syphon.- There was no filtration, no chemicals, no water changes, nothing, to be done to the cup other than the clarifier.- On the first day, I used the double dose recommended when starting out in an emergency scenario. I swirled the cup around and then left it.- I added a normal daily dose for the rest of the week, swirling each time.- The photos reflect the progress. The detritus breaks down and diminishes. You can also tell from the color, as the pile becomes smaller, finer and more transparent.THE RESULTS:I realize this little cup isn’t a perfect experiment since there are no living things in it and food added to continually dirty it up, but in good conscience I couldn’t call measuring the product bottle and summarizing the description a review. This is the closest I could get to real science in action for you! ;o)I’m happy with the findings. In just a week, it dissolved a decent amount of detritus. It’s not perfect, it’s not magic. Even though the dose was stronger than I would add to the tank, the waste isn’t dissolved as much as I would have liked, so I can’t give it 5 stars.I’m completely comfortable saying it IS effective and will be used in our happy little tank. I’m adding it to my tank once a week, as directed. It’s a good value and I like natural products. It will work well with the other bacterial enhancers I use as well.

Little goes a long way
This stuff is going to last a long time, you only need to use a little for every water change, itâs worked great for me no problems and seems to help clear up the tank a bit

In just a couple of days, it actually works!! The water is noticeably clearer!
Living in Hawaii makes maintaining a saltwater tank much easier than it is on the mainland. My kids often collect small critters from tide pools to enhance our aquarium, but this can push the tank close to its carrying capacity, resulting in cloudy water. Skeptical but hopeful, I decided to try a new solution during our next water change. To my surprise, I noticed a reduction in the haziness within just two days. The product offers plenty of solution, enough to last for several months, which is great since transporting 50 gallons of saltwater from the ocean can be quite exhausting. My goal is to extend the time between water changes by an extra week or two, which would certainly save my back. Based on my experience and the recommendation from our local pet store, this solution has proven to be very effective. I canât wait to try this in our freshwater tanks also.
