A safer option to the large heat lamps
I’ve used these reptile heat lamps for years instead of the large heat lamp bulbs. These make for a much safer option. They keep a broader at optimal temperature without being so bright as the clear bulbs. They do cost a bit more but are worth the cost and much cheaper than burning your house down. I’ve been very happy with the performance, quality and durability.

Great bulb
Use these in outdoor food boxes (made of plywood) for the farm cats. It keeps the water bowl from freezing and gives the cats somewhere to warm up here in MN. Will definitely be buying again!

First Bulb Went Out 100w Heat Lamp 2pack
These are rated for up to 3000 hours which is 125 days run time max. I purchased a two pack back in July 2023 and the first bulb just went out April 2024. I leave it on around the clock for the leopard gecko and it lasted longer than its rating. I do not run it at 100% power, closer to 90-95 or it gets a little too warm so that could be part of it.I make sure not to touch them with my bare hands to prevent any premature burnout.

My dog appreciates these very much
I bought these to use in my dogs house, I’ve been using the first bulb for a couple weeks and so far so good. I’m hoping they have a long lifespan. I’ll update my review if anything changes. If you pair these with a smart plug you can program the plug to come on when Temps reach a certain temp so you aren’t running it all the time. They throw out great heat for a 100 watt bulb.Update well it’s the end of December and first bulb has already died on me. It doesn’t give me much hope that the other bulb will last much longer but we will see. They should definitely last longer than a month and half my last 100 watt bulb I got lasted all season last year and into this one. I’ll update review if 2nd bulb craps out shortly.
