The only problem I have is that it comes apart a little too easily. My cat is the most finicky thing in the world, but she loves this as much as she can. She’s not really one for toys. This, a scratch post, and a cardboard scratcher are her only toys she favors. I almost died of shock when she used this the first timeð

My cat adores this arch brush!
I bought this arch brush because my cat was being increasingly needy asking to be brushed. She is able to brush herself some of the time and she likes resting just underneath the arch. I am so happy for this purchase!

The product arrived in a box that was open on the end. No parts list or instructions so I don’t know if parts were missing. This one is not the one shown in the video. This one came with nuts on top of the pad that you remove and put on the wire stakes, then insert the stakes into the base and tighten the nuts. One side tightens, the other doesn’t. The last one I bought was like the video and it lasted a long time plus my cats loved it thus the reason for buying it again. I’m returning this one for an exchange. I prefer the old version but will give this version another try…or two, it’s worth it if I can get one that stays together. However, for what you get, I really think it’s overpriced. Even though it’s not real sturdy, it seems to work well…at least the old version worked well. Again, I’ll update as soon as I get the replacement.

Broken right away ⦠nonfunctional
Hi, all, I bought this item back in 2023. The idea is great, as we all know cats love to rub against scratchy things. The first thing that Iâve noticed is that the bristles were too soft. The devil is in the details, as they say and the execution of this piece needs to be addressed. My cats broke it in 1 day; the base of the wire was torn out of platform. I should have returned it right away, but I thought that I can fix it by glueing back together. Two years and multiple attempts after, it is nonfunctional. In its current disposable state, the price should be around 6-7 $. Connection of wire to the base needs to be reinforced by the manufacturer to make a good product!

If you have destructive cats, you may want to give this a pass
My cats explore everything with their mouths and their claws. This was not sturdy enough to withstand their curiosity. The felt scratching pad is glued to the plastic base but not well, it came away very easily when my cat pulled on it with his mouth. The brush is fine, but it doesn’t have anything holding it only the base so comes out very easily. That said, if you have a senior or less destructive cat I’m sure this would be absolutely fine if you can get them to use it.

Let me Begin by saying that our cats have a lot of enrichment. They have a lot of toys, we keep the windows open, they have their own freaking Fountain and they sleep in our bed. But let me tell you about this cat scratcher.When they say that they enjoy it, I mean that day love it! It’s their favorite thing in our entire house. Anytime I come home from work or from a night out or anyting, one of the cats is lying on this scratcher.We originally bought it for our cat Reintte’s birthday, and while it was easy to put together the bottom tines came out of the holes pretty easily, so I used to hot glue gun, put a drop in each spot, and it’s been holding up for 2 years.My cat is actually obsessed with this. It’s her favorite thing in the entire world, I think she likes it more than she likes me. I cannot recommend this enough. As a crazy cat mom, I am very particular with the toys and treats and enrichment that I get for my girls, and especially for Reinette who has a lot of extra needs, and she uses it every day. I mean EVERY. DAY. Sometimes we get toys or beds or trees for the cats that they don’t use until we move them somewhere that they realize oh hey I like it in this spot, wherever we put this scratcher, books of the girls will find it and use it immediately. If I can’t find one of the cats, I’ll just rub my handle on it and the sound that it makes will call them to me. It’s astounding.Even my cat that doesn’t like to be brushed loves this scratcher. I bought it for a ranette because she loves being brushed and she steals my hair brushes and she brushes her face on them by herself so it was a perfect gift for her, but our other cat you can’t come near her with a brush. She gets so upset and angry that it’s really difficult to brush her. And she loves this scratcher.Just buy it. Buy it now. I’m not even kidding. It’s amazing.

Broke After 3 Months
My cat liked this thing â that is, until she broke it. She would lean directly on the front of the arch until she knocked the whole thing over. Maybe my cat just rubbed against this way too aggressively. Maybe it wasnât the best quality item. Maybe it was both. But regardless, after 3 months of barely any use, it finally broke. She somehow broke the base to the point where the arch could not be reinserted and we had to throw it away. Not cat proof, donât recommend if youâre looking for something that lasts.

This is the second one my kitty has had from Amazon but I like this one a lot better. It is now more secure in the holders and does not fall off base or be wonky when the cat rubs on it to groom. I was thinking it was a mint color but is brown base although it does not really matter but the mint would match my area decor where I have it sitting . Anyway I am happy Clancy is happy and when Mommy and Clancy are happy well then everyone is happy Thanks Amazon another winner

Really made cheaply and the base is plastic the cat canât grip to walk and comb herself just a poor made product especially since it cost nearly 50.00 I have a friend that bought similar and very well made compared to this one
