Two years Iâve been running a red cherry shrimp tank and have never seen them so excited after a few drops of this in a 15 gallon. Local water is too soft. Grateful customer.

Good buy
There are many minerals additives on market and this one was the one I’ve chosen. Nothing against the other brands, but this one works well. I use it on my ro/di water for water changes. I’ve also used it as recommend; dose it once a week. So far, so good. I have both caridinas and neocaridinas and they both are thriving colony. (Just make sure you’re within parameter specs)

Unsure of results…
While I have no poor performance stories with this liquid chemical treatment, I also see no measurable kh or Gh changes at specified dosages. My tap water is almost non-existent in calcium and other minerals and is very low kh and Gh, yet quite high ph. After adding Prime to dechlor then doses of this to water replacing changed water, I just don’t see any measurable change to kh or Gh which I would have expected to be able to keep shrimp.I just added shrimp to an already Nitrogen cycled nano tank (15 gallons). So my 1st shrimp batch of 10 were acclimated to this tank’s water over a couple of days and that tank was dosed with this product. Then shrimp were added. No ill effects a couple of days later. But I don’t honestly know if this was helpful or not to the shrimp. Time will tell. I’ll report back when I see if they die over time or not. If all is well after a few weeks (or not), I’ll report back here.March 2025:I see absolutely no changes to water parameters at all. No harm though either. Probably wont repurchase as it seems to have no effect at all that I can measure or observe.

Great stuff
Thought my wife’s fluval tank was good on mineral cuz of the substrate having minerals and didn’t want to dump the whole bottle of aqueon mineral in the 20 gallon tank. Half the neo caridina shrimp I bought for that tank had died 1 at a time about every other day. Threw CrystalPro mineral in at full dose for 20 gallons and proper dose for a 4 gallon water change every so often, haven’t lost a shrimp there for since, probably about 2 months or so now and 2 females have hatched babies that are growing well for weeks now. I’ve since also added some crystal red shrimp (Caridina) to that tank who have also been thriving, mostly juvenile who I thought got eaten, however I saw most of the out and about the other morning and find plenty of their molts over time, so I have a lot of confidence in this mineral. CRS and RCS thriving together in the same tank for well over a month, I’ll take some credit, but i believe CrystalPro Shrimp Mineral is doing a lot of the heavy lifting for me.Much more concentrated than other stuff, some other brands are only able to treat about 20 gallons with a bottle this size, the value to price to quality, is superior to anything you could possibly find on the shelf next to it, literally a few drops for a nano tank or less than a capful in a 20 gallon tank. Not a ‘conditioner’, so if you are using tap water, you’ll still want to take steps to neutralize chloramine, ammonia, etc. Also not a buffer, so if you are using RO/DI water or just have really soft water, make sure to bring up your GH and KH. This mineral does seem to bring up GH a tiny bit, but don’t count on that as a solution to low GH.So far so good on the Thai micro crabs too only a week at this point on them tho.

**Review: Incredible Results with Crystalpro Aquatics Mineralized Product**I recently purchased the mineralized product from Crystalpro Aquatics, and I have to say, it has been a game-changer for my aquarium. Initially, I bought it with the hope that it would help balance my KH (carbonate hardness) and GH (general hardness) levels, and I am thrilled to report that it has exceeded my expectations! From the moment I began using this concentrated formula, I noticed remarkable improvements in my water parameters. It’s evident that this product is specifically designed to effectively address mineral deficiencies, which is crucial for maintaining a healthy aquatic environment. The noticeable increase in both KH and GH levels has positively impacted the overall health of my shrimp. One of the standout features is its concentration. A little goes a long way, which means Iâll be able to use this product for an extended period without constantly reordering. This is not only economical but also a huge time-saver for me, as I wonât have to worry about frequent applications. The ease of use is another highlight. The instructions are straightforward, making it simple to measure out the right amount based on my tank’s needs. I appreciate products that are user-friendly, and this one certainly fits the bill.Overall, if you are looking for a reliable and effective solution to enhance your aquariumâs KH and GH levels, I highly recommend the mineralized product from Crystalpro Aquatics. It works exceptionally well, is incredibly concentrated, and will last you a long time. This product has undoubtedly earned a permanent place in my aquarium maintenance routine!

I see molts a few times a week since using this stuff I swear by it , absolute magic . The snails love it too !I know it’s just trace elements of the important minerals shrimp need to molt and grow strong … So the reviews of other saying it’s crap and don’t buy it I don’t trust , I use this stuff in all my tanks with no problem and the ingredients inside it would not harm your shrimp , if anything the reviewers who made comments about dying likely had a cycle crash or the tank was too new . It has nothing to do with this product & I reccomended it to all shrimp keepers !
