Easy to Use
This is easy to use. The thermometer comes with a detachable backing that sticks to the aquarium, basic instructions (it does not tell you how to change the degrees), and a screwdriver. It already comes with batteries. When you first get it, it’s set to Celsius. To change to Fahrenheit just hold the power button down for a few seconds until it changes. It’s about 2″ around, so it’s big enough that you can see the numbers but small enough that it doesn’t detract from the aquarium. I have other thermometers that pretty much work and look the same. What makes this one different is that it’s a very dark blue and shaped like a water drop. I thought it was cute addition to its style. It functions great. Despite being on the outside of the aquarium (this does not go on the inside) it’s pretty spot on with the temperature. The tank pictured has a manual thermometer on the same side and a digital one on the opposite side, so all of the temperatures match.

Sleek and Functional Thermometer
I really appreciate the stylish design of this thermometer. It sits almost flush with the tank and doesnât stand out too much, which is great for maintaining a clean look. I also like that it automatically turns off after a few seconds, so there isnât a constant light shining. My only concern is that it might be a degree or two off since it reads through the glass instead of being in the water. I have a heater with a built-in thermometer, and the two never quite agree.

Attractive and functional
Measures the temperature accurately. The display is bright and the numbers are large enough to read easily. I like that the battery is replaceable. I use this for my propagation station to keep my tropical plats at a comfortable temperature. I chose not to use the mounting ring but used a glue dot so it can be moved without leaving a big glue residue. I also like that the reading can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The price is fair and overall the product is simple to use. .

I really like the thermometers like this as it makes it easier to read the temperature and keep a more accurate record. Itâs pretty straightforward just un peel the sticker and stick it on. I have these on both my tanks.

Great Concept, But Accuracy Falls Short
I really like the idea behind this device, being able to click and instantly check the aquarium temperature is super convenient. Unfortunately, I have to give it 2 stars because the readings seem off. My automatic thermostat is consistently set to 78°F, but this unit regularly shows 80+°F, which is concerning since that range can stress certain fish. The discrepancy makes it hard to trust the data, and in aquarium care, precision matters. Itâs a clever tool, but not reliable enough for sensitive setups.

Easily read and accurate thermometer
I like this thermometer for my aquarium. It sticks to the outside with a ring of adhesive. I did have to remove and adjust it. The adhesive re-stuck and is holding it well. I have a curved tank and the thermometer stays in place.I feel the reading is spot on. I have another thermometer, that has a wired sensor and is submerged in the back of the tank. Both thermometers are within 0.2 F degrees of each other. That can be due to the fact, they are at different heights in the tank. It can easily set to Fahrenheit or Celsius.The only draw-back, is the display is off until you touch the button to display the temperature. So, you can’t just easily look at it from across the room. You have to turn it on. When display is on the numbers a clear and easily read.

Itâs beautiful and works perfectly!
I have been using a tape type thermometer and I always question whether itâs accurate and now I have totally certainty what the temperature is.I like how small it is and itâs not an eye sore and it doesnât interfere with viewing your aquarium.Itâs really easy to operate as well.You just hold down the finger print button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.It auto shuts off after about 5 seconds to save battery life so when you want to check the temperature you just lightly press the button.It took about 4 minutes to adjust to the tank and it works perfectly.I am so happy I got to try this out.I recommend this for aquarium hobbyists because knowing the temperature of your water is important for the health of your tank.I think itâs a great price as well.It comes with a pre installed CR2032 battery and a little screwdriver and instructions.I will keep using this and update this review if anything changes. Take care!
