Squirrel-Proof: The weight-activated system detects visitor weight to activate protection mechanism. When a squirrel climbs on, its weight forces the protective shroud downward, blocking all feeding ports
Durable Metal: With its sturdy metal construction and anti-rust powder coating, this feeder withstands a variety of outdoor elements, and even pesky squirrels that love to chew. Great for year-round use
Easy to Clean: The removable base provides full access to the bottom, preventing seed residue buildup and clumping. No tools required, simply press the button to quickly release the base for effective cleaning
Works with Mix Seed: Holds up to 2.5 lbs of seeds and suitable for most seed types and blends. The wide-mouth design enables spill-free refilling, while the transparent compartment allows you to monitor seed levels
Great Gift Choice: Hang this feeder in your garden or outside kitchen window to attract wild birds like finches, cardinals, chickadees. Enjoy delightful birdwatching every day, making it an ideal gift for parents, children and friends
Customers say
Customers find the bird feeder well-made, easy to fill and clean, and appreciate its shiny appearance and good value for money. They report that birds love using it. The squirrel protection and functionality receive mixed reviews – while some say it keeps squirrels at bay, others find it ineffective. The spring release mechanism is problematic, with customers noting that it stays shut once triggered.

Best Ever !
Easy to fill, easy to clean, keeps seed dry, smaller birds like finches and chickadees love it. Bigger birds like jays and woodpeckers have a tougher time, but that’s OK. A really determined squirrel can hang from it’s back legs from the hanger wire, but I just put some axle grease on the poles to deter that. I’ve had not the slightest problem with the springs. I use sunflower hearts. I typically throw out about five feeders each year but I’ve had one of these over a year and now use three. This feeder is far superior to any other I’ve ever used. I’ll never buy another brand again.

Works great! Birds love it, squirrels don’t!
Does great keeping squirrels out! Only downside is I have to slide it down when I’m refilling with seed, but that’s easy so no stars off.Smaller birds are more drawn to it. I was hoping larger birds would feed from it too.Overall works great and birds are fighting over it. Also have a wire tube and gazebo feeders out. This one is the most popular!

Fantastic & Clever Birdfeeder that really works, but still prone to rust early!
****UPDATE***still a Great feeder BUT after only two weeks of use, the feeder is already rusting where the metal perches are located and on the metal baffle where the screws hold it together. That is a bit disappointing, to say the least. On a white birdfeeder, brown-orange rust is quite visible. (Keep in mind that theses feeders are brought inside at night and returned in the morning and yet they are still rusting after only two weeks). Knowing that feeders are going to be outside and exposed to rain, you would think the metal would be better treated to guard against rust. Mechanically, the feeders do what they need to do, but just wish they did not rust so quickly. We will see how long they remain attractive to stay hung. So, I dropped my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars because of the premature rust.A number of years ago, I had to pay $80 for this technology where the weight of a squirrel closes the feeding mechanism. Since then the technology is better and smoother with more feeding ports. This birdfeeder is case in point and at $26, it is a great value. The entire birdfeeder is a model in “clever design”. I really can’t say enough positive about it. First, the mechanism that closes to the weight of a squirrel or very large bird is very smooth while still providing perch space for desirable birds. The clever design for removing the top to add seed and the removal of the base for easy cleaning works incredibly well. Plus, I love the added squirrel baffle in the middle of the feeder. It is really genius in its design because it moves with the weight of animal. So, not only is it curved making it hard for a rat or squirrel to hang on, but with any pressure, the baffle falls along the length of the tube feeder which does not only cause the animal to fall to the ground, but also closes off the feeder port from spillage. In addition, to remove the lid and the bottom requires pushing a button rather than screwing or prying which makes accidental and animal openings unlikely. Also, the parts that should be metal are, and the parts that should be glass are, and the parts than can be plastic are which means no more weak parts which can break or be chewed through. I also like that the feeder can be bought in different colors. Since this one is going to be hanging from our fence which is white, I got a white one and it looks really nice with the fence in the background. This is a great, great feeder that works extremely well for a great price! Highly recommend! A-

Birds love it, squirrels hate it
I used to have issues with the neighborhood squirrels eating all the bird feed, but no more! Since Iâve upgraded my feeder to this one from a plastic yurt-looking one, the neighborhood squirrels have been getting all their free meals at the neighborsâ yurt-looking bird feeder. I currently have 4 birds sitting on the perches feeding. They seem to have no problems eating and keep coming back for more. I like the build, quality, and size. Initially, I thought it was large and somewhat longer compared to what I previously had, but I donât mind it now and thereâs less refilling since I donât have a squirrel eating or knocking all the food to the ground. Itâs also a bit more pricey, but my last squirrel feeder, I mean bird feeder, was actually falling apart because the fat squirrels broke part of its plastic perch and the plastic latch used to close the top of the feeder by hanging on for so long. I read so many reviews on squirrel-proof feeders and Iâm happy to say this has worked great & has deterred the squirrels from even attempting to stop by for a snack. Itâs like the smart, furry cute rats already know. To address another review, I havenât noticed any rust developing, but I donât live in a very humid climate either. Lastly, my only issue is â itâs shiny & nice looking and I was very worried someone might try to steal it, but so far itâs remained & I hope the demand for bird feeders stays low.

“Squirrel proof” feature doesn’t work
A decent bird feeder, easy to load and clean. Made with durable materials, which I expect to hold up for sometime. My issue with this, is with the “squirrel proof” feature. Once a squirrel climbs on it, it’s weight causes the feeder to slide down and close off the feeder windows. Unfortunately, the springs used for this are not strong enough to spring it back open, thus leaving it blocked off until you physically slide it back open. The baffle feature is also problematic. It doesn’t line up properly to screw in place, and takes a little “tweaking” just to get it on, but once it’s on, it seems to bind up the the sliding feature. With a couple of design adjustments, this would be a great feeder. If you are having sqirrel issues, you might want to look into another feeder.

Excellent bird feeder. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and the squirrels haven’t figured out how to get to it. Not for lack of trying.
