Great filter floss
I cut these up into squares so that theyâll fit into my bio cube filter. And it works great. I mean this whole thing might last me a whole year itâs so much. And I just replace it out every week and itâs amazing what it catches and itâs really reduced the amount of garbage in my fish tank as well as reduce the amount of bubbles coming out of my protein skimmer that end up in the tank. So yes a great purchase Iâm just gonna be buying this for the rest of my tankâs life.

Great for making your own replacement filter media
This is a great way to save money by buying filter media in bulk and then cutting it up yourself. It’s easy to size and then you can use a pair of scissors to cut and this will last much longer for a fraction of the price.A few things to note is that there will be quite alot of small pieces of filter media that fall off as you cut so you should cut in a place that is easy to clean up. I got quite a bit stuck on my pants and the solution was to use some packing tape to sticky it off because brushing it with my hands didn’t work. It’ll also be good practice to rinse the filter media before you put it in the water to help remove any other loose filter media. Either way a great way to save on filtration media.
