Multiple Tier: With three ladders and several levels of platforms to run, climb, and play on, this small animal cage is a hamster playpen mansion. The quintuple set-up offers tons of room for exercise, making classic hamster cages look undersized. Offer them enough space to fit their endless energy.
Shelf: Featuring a shelf on the bottom, this wooden hamster cage includes a space for pet items. By keeping everything in a place, the shelf saves storage room needed elsewhere, opening up the cabinets and closets. Sitting on elevated legs, the wood cage will stay protected from dampness and moisture.
Two Doors: The hamster habitat’s hinged top and two front doors make it easier to access, so you can reach in from anywhere with quick and open entry from above or through the front.
Easy Sight to Interior: Keep an eye out for your little fur ball through the crystal clear windows of this big hamster house. Unlike wire coverage, the design offers open spaces to look through, without the need to see through metal bars. To pair with the glass, the mesh on top provides air circulation.
Big Cage for Hamsters Information: Overall Dimensions: 23.5″ L x 15.75″ W x 47.25″ H. Assembly required.
Customers say
Customers find the hamster cage attractive and appreciate its appearance. However, the wood quality receives negative feedback, with customers describing it as very cheap. Moreover, the cage’s durability is concerning, with multiple customers reporting pieces coming broken in half. Additionally, the instructions are criticized for being only pictures, and customers disagree on whether it’s easy to clean. The labeling and value for money aspects also receive mixed reviews.

Awesome Cage
I bought this cage for a little mouse I found and dropper fed. The little critter runs all over the place in this cage. It is wood, and, yes, it’s possible if you have a avid chewing rodent beast that it could potentially chew through the cage, but, so far, my little Chibi has not chewed through anything. She loves to run around in it. My husband put it together in about 45 minutes. He said the instructions are all pictures, no words. So if you’re a visual person, you’ll do fine with the instructions. If you’re the type that needs to read the instructions, they might prove to be a challenge for you. The wood is unfinished and may soak up urine and wet feces, but that is easily remedied with a couple of coats of water-based varnish. 5 stars, baby!! Yeah!

Horrible
My husband set this up while I was at work. I came home and was not impressed by this habitat⦠itâs the cheapest wood you could possibly buy. It cracked when every screw was put in. Itâs a cheap wood that absorbs the animals pee. The doors donât even latch a piece of the cheap wood is the âlatchâ the wood it self reeks of perfume. Iâd this wasnât already assembled and the hamster wasnât already in it by the time I got home I wouldâve sent this back as fast as possible. Donât buy this as soon as it breaks or smells of piss because itâs unable to be cleaned itâs going to the trash. This âhabitatâ is not worth $130 bucks. Do not make the same mistake as I did. Donât listen to any good reviews about this thing. This would be great if it was 30 bucks if that. Also any rodent type pet will chew this instantly itâs just cheap wood. Also the directions are the worst directions I ever got. None of the pieces are labeled so itâs basically a puzzle the whole time. The directions have letters to where what goes but that isnât helpful when nothing is actually marked.

I love there things but today had a couple of miss steps
Never had an issue with this company before. And I love you guys company. But I love this cage the most. Because I have several hamsters and I can divide it into 2 cases.

Not for beginners
You will see many negative comments talking about quality, ease of build and such. Honestly speaking, the quality is the only thing i would agree with. If you decide to purchase this, before putting any platform on the board, i would HIGHLY suggest putting a wood screw or two gently onto each hold. If not, they are onlt held on by staples and will easily come off when setting up. I would also recomend having wood glue handy as well. Should we need to do this? Nope absolutely not. But it is what it is. Which is why i cant give this more than 3 stars. Other than that, the instructions are pictures only. So if you need your hand held and told every bit of pieces then, maybe get a simpler habitat. The pictures are clear enough, everything was labeled, and if you know what you are doing, if you adhered to my first recomendation, youll be set up in no time. There were a few times I had issues thinking it was poor quality, but nope. Just human error. Im willing to bet 90% of the negative comments in here are due to human error and not really the fault of the seller. I will say, the wood seems to be low quality and can easily split. But all in all, i cant say this is a bad habitat and my gerbils seem to love it so far.

Works well and looks very nice – if you plan ahead!
This hamster house is really cool, especially if you plan before you build it. I read through all the bad reviews and all the mistakes first. Then I applied a moisture sealant to all the wood pieces and let them dry for a month. Then I assembled it, making sure to predrill holes to avoid splitting wood (after drilling reverse the drill and let it spin for a few seconds to âcauterizeâ the wood). After assembly, I made some flat metal inserts out of sheet metal that are the same shape as the bottom of each level and have 1/2 inch rim to form a basin of sorts to catch poop and urine as well as make removal of bedding much easier. Then I removed the plexiglass film. It has worked out incredibly well. My daughter loves it, Melon our dwarf hamster loves it, and it looks much better than a plastic/jail cell type of cage. She doesnât chew on it at all and it has no smell or stains. Thereâs plenty of room for 2 wheels, lots of toys, several beds and houses, tubes, sand bath, water bowls and water bottles, and some toys handing down from the metal screen on top. The Amazon app wonât let me upload pictures so sorry about that.

poorly made
donât get this unless youâre willing to put in a lot of work to modify it, and know pretty well what youâre doing, because the instructions they provide are terrible.several of the front panels are too wide to fit in where theyâre supposed to. i had to sand them down to get them to fit in Also, only the smaller doors swing open, which makes it pretty difficult to access the lower half of the enclosure, especially since those doors are on the bottom where the litter is, so it will all spill out. the hinges they provide for the doors are also cheap and wide, so they leave gaps at the bottom that bedding can fall through. I ended up buying new hinges and applying hinges to the other two front panels as well, which is pretty difficult to do within the design of the enclosure.youâll need to apply something to the wood too, since itâs pine which is soft and would easily absorb urine. I painted the inside platforms with clear mod podge which seems to be working okay.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY, TIME OR EFFORT.
It’s cheaply made using cheap materials. Animals are going to chew right thru it. The door on the bottom of ours isn’t even cut the right size and doesn’t close. The top layer main shelf doesn’t attach to it at all so when you open that door it slides out the entire level. The gaps are large. Any bedding for an animal is just going to spill out. Nowhere to attach water bottles or any extra attachments so keep that in mind. Don’t buy this one please.

Nice but limitations
My sister had about 40 mice and we were trying to separate the males from the females. In researching this I saw that some people had separated it into two sections. We did that but we learned very quickly that if there was any small hole the mice made it bigger to get from one side to the other. I had to repair it a couple of times and as my sister was not real good at keeping the mice under control we ended up getting rid of all of them and the hut ended up in the trash.
