Useful everywhere
I like these types of thermometer because they are compact, I use ones already around the house that doesn’t have a probe, so when I saw these similar ones with a probe, I wanted to get this 12pk (12-Pack LCD Digital Hygrometer and Thermometer, Indoor Hygrometer Meter, Humidity Gauge for Reptile Enclosures, Greenhouses (SD3013-with Probe)) for other applications. I have placed them at my windows and put the probe up higher where the panes meet to monitor the draft temperatures.I put 5 of them in one window just to test it out with the probes in the same location, The humidity ranged from 38% to 42% and the temperature spanned from 45.8F to 55.7F degrees, it’s pretty cold and drafty by the window since it’s in the low 20s right now outside. I have also placed one inside of my sauna tent to monitor the humidity and temperature when I’m doing the steam sauna. That’s been interesting to watch it fluctuate depending on where I put the probe. I have other thermometers inside the tent and this one seems to be within 5% and 5 degrees of the other ones. I’m not sure which one is accurate but as long as they are relatively close, it’s fine by me. This 12pk is reasonably priced and I can monitor all kinds of conditions whether it’s using in my microgreens area or near other plants or in the bedroom near the humidifier, etc. It’s interesting stats to look at and I’m glad I was able to get these to try out.

Pretty Decent for Casual Use
This order came with 12 thermometers that show humidity as well as temperature. These are not scientific instruments by any stretch but for daily use to get directionally correct temp and humidity readings they work great. Iâm using them to get a better understanding of how heat is dispersed in my house to identify hot or cold spots. For that purpose it works well. Each device comes with batteries installed. To get the, operational, user opens the battery cover, removes the batteries and then removes the film under the batteries. You cannot just pull the film out it hour opening the cover or you might break the cover or lose the batteries as they fly out. I did get a couple of devices that were not accurate. See the pictures. One shows 158 degrees which canât be reset. For some, I simply pulled the batteries which reset the device. It did not work with this one. But having 12 means it didnât matter much. The other picture shows the devices were showing nearly the same reading in the same location so the accuracy seems ok between devices. Overall they are smaller than I thought but seem to be working well.

Not quite 4 stars but better than 3
The “12-Pack LCD Digital Hygrometer and Thermometer, Indoor Hygrometer Meter, Humidity Gauge (SD3013-with Probe)” I received are a bit off measuring humidity. These work, but they aren’t very accurate measuring humidity. I noticed about a 7% difference between these and my trusted Hygrometer. Temperature reading however is within listed spects with the ones I received. As other reviews mention, I needed to take the batteries out in order to remove the protective plastic. No, don’t try to just pull the clear plastic tab or you will most likely damage the unit.I like that these have a corded probe so I can place the probe into tight spots where it may be otherwise difficult to have an all-in-one display.Im case you may be wondering… Of course the probe isn’t waterproof- it’s a hygrometer. Submerging it would short out the probe. It needs humidity to pass over the sensor. The sensor is exposed to the air inside the probe casing. If you need just a submersible probe for temperature readings, search elsewhere on Amazon. This is for reptile enclosures, 3d filament chambers/enclosed 3D printers, mycology tubs, etc.Would I recommend these? Probably not due to the inaccurate Hygrometer readings throughout all the ones I tested hoping to find one that more closely matched a trusted meter. However, if you need a bunch of these, and you are on a budget, AND you can test them so you know how far off yours are, then it may be a viable option.

These work, but accuracy is not perfect
I got these more for temperature than humidity, though I will likely use some around my 3d printer filament where humidity is the main issue.I put some in different places of the house to see what the temps are in different rooms. I put then all in 1 room initially and found each to differ by as much as 5 degrees. This is ok for most applications, but not ideal, seems they could be a little more accurate and consistent.

8 of 10
I ordered these for my reptiles, upon receiving them, total of 8 out of 12 actually worked. Four of them The LED screen didn’t display anything.

Do the job!
This 12 pack digital Hygrometer/Thermometer is just what we needed. Works well for every room and they are always accurate. Super easy to read, those digital numbers are bold and legible. Happy that it came with a long cord so you can put them almost anywhere. You truly do get a great value with this bundle. Easy to use and they do come with pre installed round batteries. We do recommend.

Good
These hygrometer/thermometers are decent quality. I like that they come in a multi pack because I always use multiple per enclosure for my reptiles, amphibians, and hermit crabs. I haven’t noticed any huge discrepancies between these and other brands I have. My main complaint is the plastic tab for the batteries. It absolutely won’t just pull out and when you take the cover off the batteries just fall out. Keep in mind that these are tiny button batteries and super dangerous for babies, little kids, or pets that might swallow one. Other than that issue, I have no complaints.
