Effective Pet Grooming Tool
Let me start by saying I have a German Shepherd. I’ve seen it said that living with a German Shepherd is like living inside of a hair snow globe and that’s true. Additionally I have a boxer who sheds quite frequently. I purchased the AirRobo pet vacuum in an effort to stop the hair tumbleweeds rolling across my floors. Much to my surprise the product worked exactly as advertised. Neither of my dogs object to being vacuumed because the system is very quiet. They’re no high-pitched whines or odd sounds which might frighten my dogs. I use the hair removal rake which they find to be a pleasant back scratch everyday. I particularly like the fact that I can clean the head without putting my hands in the hair and spreading it around. A couple quick flicks of the cleaner lever and I’m ready to resume vacuuming and grooming my dogs. I cannot begin to tell you what a quantum change the AirRobo has made in the amount of hair in my home. Not only do I not have the tumbleweeds on the floor but bathroom rugs, the library carpet, etc all have much less hair on them. My robot vacuum system can now easily keep up with a daily shed. If you have pets and if they shed I highly recommend this product to you.The addition of the crevice tool and upholstery cleaning brush are a nice touch. Both work quite well. The other thing that was very nice to have included was a grooming clipper. Neither of my dogs currently need clipping but it’s nice to have the attachment available to me. The snap-on heads provide a variety of fur length trimming so that you can customize and clean up around pause, mouths, ears, etc.I did have a concern with a small malfunction of the hose. I contacted the seller and within 48 hours had a response offering to send another hose to me. They’ve also made sure that there were no other issues that they needed to address at the time. I am currently awaiting the arrival of the hose and I’m still able to use the machine by effecting a small repair. The email was not only timely but very courteous and concerned with my satisfaction. Their response makes me confident that the company will stand by its product and provide the needed support.

Very Special Grooming “Assistant”
Such a special tool for grooming my two dogs, Shepherd mix, and a Golden Shepherd. Lots of hair! My Golden Shepherd has long, very fine static hair when I brush her so I always had to spray some topcoat water on to calm it down. This vacuum works great and there is no flyaway hair sticking to my arm and clothes. The Golden Shepherd was a bit frightful of the noise so I had it on low speed the first time and let her lick on a “peanut butter pad” we use to keep dogs occupied to trim their nails. Peanut butter pad does the trick for this vacuum, too. I started out using the lowest speed and then after a couple times had been using medium speed, then high speed. Works well. The canister was full of hair and met to my approval! Update: I have used this lovely vacuum on my two dogs several times. One important maintenance step everyone needs to do is to clean the filters each time after use. Instructions are in the manual. The sponge dust filter is the vital one to clean! You will be amazed how much dust is vacuumed off your dogs! The filter will be covered with very fine dust. If not regularly cleaned it won’t be able to suck dust and hair efficiently. Just make sure after you wash with water (no soap) to let everything “thoroughly” dry before reassembling the vacuum. My dogs and I love this little vacuum!

Best ever purchase related to our dog.
Our dog is an Aussie Mix and sheds more than any dog we have known. Grooming helps, but is so expensive and he really hates going. Iâve used this for about 2 months and I wish Iâd have had it for years. It is not too loud, just start it on low. For the first month I only used the brush feature. Then I got brave and used the clippers. Oh. My. Word. He loves it, and it is so easy to do. On a typical session I get a full plastic grocery bag (compacted) of hair off the dog. The shedding is much improved. When he sees me get this vacuum out, he now jumps up on the sofa to be groomed. Itâs ridiculous, the cat joins as well.The unit is very easy to use, clean, and store. I use an extension cord. Accessories are good quality. Buy it.

Good, but gets warm within 10 minutes or so.
I have a large Great Pyrenees/Border Collie/Supermutt mix that has been a pain to brush out and groom between her regular grooming appointments and have thought for a while if I should order this or not. As of now Iâm not disappointed! She isnât sensitive or scared of many sounds but the vacuum is quite on all settings. The brushes work as well as brushes will, but I do recommend getting a rake brush if your dog has a thicker coat as the brushes supplied will not get into their undercoat. The paw trimmer seems to not bother her like others have.The quality seems to be well enough that itâll last basic grooms every now and then, but I canât imagine itâd hold up for daily used back-to-back if you plan on using it on multiple pets, especially when the unit itself becomes warm quickly.The storage is small for my dog personally, but if you donât have a giant 80lbs. mass of fluff wandering about itâll probably store more.I donât plan on using any of the regular razors, so I canât review those. My dog has sensitive skin and I fear them nicking her. They seem good quality at the least.The only issue I had was the unit itself getting extremely hot after about ~10 minutes of usage that I had to turn it off and go back after a bit. The cord itself would become warm to the touch but not hot, so thatâs the only thing Iâd keep an eye out for when using this. Because that can be a hazard Iâm setting it at 4 stars.
