Pool tester
This tester has worked great for me. I have had no issues. Calibration was simple but I had to do it a couple times and go through the directions each time. After that it has helped keep my pool in great condition this year. Also helped my wallet by going to pool places and only needing the chemical that I needed. Some of those places get a little out of hand on what you need.

Bought this for quick check for checking salt concentration and pH check for salt water pool. Very quick very accurate. Love that it comes with the calibration solutions as well. This also help check ppm for free chlorine as well

Okay but not what I needed
Unit seemed to work well. I returned the one I purchased because it doesnât read all the chemical elements that I need. If I still have to buy a testing kit along with this thereâs really no point in using this.

Works to measure PH and TDS, low cost, good value presuming it continues to work.
I think this is a decent PH / TDS tester but it does come with some caveats. It says you need to calibrate it every two weeks, which is kind-of nuts. My bluelab PH pen does cost a bit over twice as much but it only needs to be calibrated once per growing season.The next issue is that this comes with the calibration solution, 3 point, which frankly sucks to have to do a 3 point calibration, most are two point, however it does not come with the 1413 TDS calibration solution. I think they should have opted out of the three point calibration and stuck with the two point calibration for PH and included the TDS calibration, that’s just my humble opinion.The probe appears to be accurate when testing PH and TDS for now, so far so good, who knows how long that will last and I have my doubts. For now though, it functions well but it does appear that a little wiggling of the end and the PH / TDS reading fluctuates a lot. This might not be so important when it comes to testing a pool but for hydroponics all it takes is one bad batch of water and your plants are screwed. I will say it’s super easy to calibrate and equally easy to use, and it costs close to one third of a real PH tester, which also you would have to buy a TDS tester as well so there is definitely value here presuming it continues to work properly. All in all, I recommend this product for entry level PH / TDS use and if there is a barrier of entry for you with regards to cost, this might be a good option at least to get your head into hydroponics or understanding your pool / hot tub’s PH. I do recommend purchasing some storage solution for the probe because you will need to store it properly for it to have any chance of continuing to function long term.

Finally a good quality pH and Tds meter for a fair price. Has everything it uses AAA batteries comes with ph solution and has a replaceable probe!!!
