It works as intended, took awhile to wrap the pole tho. Itâs durable and good quality. My cats took a couple weeks to get used to it I think it smelled funny to them but after getting used to it their scratching like normal

Save your shredded carpet on your cat tree.
This is a great product and has saved me from replacing my cat tree. It looks good, and the cat seems to like it just fine. No more shredded carpet on my carpet. But if you think you need one order two, etc… I guarantee you’ll use more than you think.

Excellent product
Excellent product only issue is yes is doe’s have a strong odor just follow the directions that comes with the product. Easy but time consuming to install I used wood glue but sanded the dowels a down a bit to get the pre-existing glue residue off and a staple gun as you’ll see when removing old rope from cat tower looks better than new only issue is I didn’t have enough rope to finish even though I bought 164 feet of it the satisfaction of a great looking cat tree and the satisfaction they’ll get when tearing back apart is and will be worth every penny ð. Now to order more rope .

Great product. Used with a glue gun and worked well! Just enough rope to cover about 3 poles on my tall cat tree.Fingers were really raw afterwards tho due to the coarseness of the rope, but will be great for my kitties. My only issue is that there is no spool-like feature so the rope kept tangling and the bunch of rope kept falling apart as I was winding it around the poles.Very inconvenient and slowed down my process.Would buy again tho and worth the price. 🙂

Perfect for re-wrapping cat scratching post!
The length was enough to cover half of the post, itâs thick and sturdy. I secured it at the top and bottom with double sided foam tape and staples at either end. Very easy to do yourself and for the price, itâs worth it to DIY over buying a whole new scratcher.

Nice replacement for a cat condo
This had a very strong smell, I’m not sure if it was a natural smell or a chemical, but it left after a couple of days of airing it out. It didn’t repel my cats from using it on day one though. This one is a little thicker than the sisal that came on the cat condo, but both of my cats have long claws and they love to file them all the time. So I’m hoping the thickness will last a little longer. It was super easy to secure it to the premade poles using a staple gun (be careful where you staple it). I just stapled towards the edges of the poles since that’s not an obvious spot they scratch at and then just wrapped it around. I didn’t use glue either. I was able to wrap 4 small poles about 12″ long and another 2 poles about 16″ long (one was a little short on coverage). My cat condo has about 4 more poles of various sizes so if you plan to work with a larger condo you might want to go ahead and get two.

Bought this rope to repair my cat tower, and structurallyâitâs purr-fect. Sturdy, thick, and my cats took to scratching it like it owed them money. So in terms of feline satisfaction, itâs five stars all the way.But the smell. Oh, the smell.Imagine a barn, a tire fire, and a forgotten gym sock had a love childâand that child was dipped in regret. Thatâs what hit me when I opened the package. I thought my cats were gagging, but turns out they were just judging me for bringing this scent bomb into the house.Iâve had it for two weeks now and itâs starting to fade, but if youâre sensitive to smells or have a nose that still works, maybe let it air out in the garage for a few years first.Bottom line: Cats love it. My nostrils? Not so much.

Product was good. I got 3 post done before running out. I have a second roll on its way. I had my manager watch over me while I repaired his scratcher to make sure it was satisfictory. Right after I was done, he instantly jumped on it started scratching! I’d say it’s a win.Tip for the first time repairers (such as myself). Start at the bottom of the post and go upward so you get a tighter winding of the twine. I learned that when doing the bottom post (the last one) and it went a lot better using gravity to keep them sitting nicely. It also made it so I only had to glue once every 6 wraps instead of each one like I did above it.. hope this helps someone!
