Long haired animal lovers be advised
This brush is awesome. It basically functions, for us, as a mini bath between baths. It removes hair and minor dirt then leaves them smelling better.The brush has thicker bristles and may be too aggressive for some animals, but it works pretty well for our smaller dog.My only complaint is that it gets hair caught in the way of the steam and will drip water down your arm. If you have a short haired animal, think this is perfect. If your animal has long hair like mine, will need to be cleared of hair repeatedly to function.

I think this brush is just okay.I have both long and short haired cats and the bristles are short and stubby, so they donât pull much hair from my short haired cat. It works a little better on the longer coat, but still not great.The steam function feels unnecessary for me since my cats are indoors only. Maybe it would help more for outdoor cats, but for my situation it isnât worth the hassle as I just end up with damp, very angry cats that still need a bath. The handle is also short and not very supportive, so I end up holding it by the base which works but isnât comfortable.The current price of under $6 is a great deal (was $19.99 when I got it), but I still wouldnât go out of my way to buy this brush again.

Works super well to pull the loose hair up and out of my fur children’s coat. Short course and long soft both pull up great with this thing. The cats don’t love the steam.

Nice way to freshen up in between baths.
Love this steam brush, works very well on my dogs with short hair (1 -2″ long). Brush seems durable under normal use. The picture shows my broken brush after my husband dropped it. Even then, brush continues to throw out steam. Makes very easy to fresh up your fur baby, leaving a clean smell. Haven’t tried it on dogs with longer hair yet. It’s a great value for your money.

A decent option for cats who tolerate regular brushes
This is a great little brush! I think it would be very effective on a more cooperative cat. My cat hates brushing and is very suspicious of the steam, but it does seem to get a good but of hair off of her when I am able to use it on her in little increments. I think that the reservoir is a bit small, I have had to refill it most times I go to use it even though I donât use it for long periods. The battery also seems to need recharging every time I use it. I also think that the conditioner they provide is very heavily scented and that you should consider skipping using it, especially for pets with more sensitive lungs. The brush bristles are soft but firm, with a good grippiness that allows for good fur adhesion when brushing, and I think that the brush will hold up fine over time, the only thing that may be sensitive are the electrical components, but the ones on mine are still running fine. Again, for most cats who tolerate grooming, this would be a five star product, but for me, my cat does not tolerate it, the capacity is too small, the charge does not last very long, and the conditioner they provide is very strongly scented, so I am giving it a respectable 4/5 instead. Hope this helps!
