Surprisingly Bland!
I hesitated over the price but the Applegate brand is well known for quality. Unfortunately these did not have anything like the texture or flavor of a more commercial brand’s franks. I prepared several according to the package directions, in boiling water. I also pan fried a couple of them for a few minutes after simmering in water. In both cases they were disappointing.
