Good entry level pole
This is a great beginner’s fishing pole. Its lightweight, but also still strong, able to catch crappie and bass without any issue. No, its not going to bring in a 30 lb catfish, but it seems durable for normal usage.

I really like this little rod , it’s perfect for the fishing that I do. It is strong enough to battle big Bass and Catfish , and sensitive enough to feel strikes from Crappie and Bluegill.

Decent combo
Purchased this after losing my last ultra light overboard. The pre spooled line had way too much memory and knotted alot. I ended up taking off the line and re spooling with another brand I use. The rod has great action and is perfect for the tight places I kayak fish like under bridges, pylons etc. It pitches very well and can feel that crappy nibble easy. The thing about crappy is they don’t eat and run. They typically inhale their food and sit, so feeling the initial bite is crucial. The reel is ok, I may replace it with one of my favorite plfuger ultra light reels. All in all it’s a great setup for the price point and catches fish.

Great addition to my lineup
This rod fit the exact slot I wanted it to. It casts great, is very sensitive to bites and all in all just catches fish. It is lightweight and durable. I recommend this rod to anyone looking for an affordable light power rod.

Too Crappy for Crappie
I put the rod together and flexed it ever so slightly and the tip snapped right off. It’s not solid fiberglass as you might anticipate, but rather some thin plastic tube. Don’t see how it could ever stand up to actual fishing. I had ordered the reel at the same time and am returning it unopened fearing it will be subpar, too.

Basic rod for perch/crappie fishing. Price a light high but decent rod. 5 star if price was in the 20s.
