Well made bird toy especially for smaller parrots
Super cute and mostly well made. There are some parts that I would only feel comfortable with for a smaller parrot like a budgie. I ordered this because there is a Quaker parrot in the picture so I knew it was the right size for my Quakers. The size is just right, but I wouldn’t give this to anything larger than a Quaker parakeet.Quakers seem to be more terrified of new things so they still haven’t played with it but they’re getting used to it being in their room. I don’t imagine the corks will last very long at all, so I’m hoping I can find replacement corks. If not, you could totally clip some other chewable fun into the holes that are left over once the corks are destroyed. You could even shove millet spray or wheat stalks.The part where they stand is wrapped with a type of cord so it gives them some comfort for their feet. I don’t believe it’s cotton but I’m not sure what it’s made of.Super easy to install, you can add this to the repertoire of bird toys within minutes, or even seconds, and they can be playing to their hearts content.This is definitely going to be a toy that they are supervised with, because it wouldn’t last long inside the cage with them once they got to it since both of my Quakers love to shred wood. The Bell is painted so that’s a little concern. I’ll probably replace it if it seems like they play with it too much, but fortunately neither of mine seem to have much interest in bells. They also have a pension for opening clips so I’ll probably replace this with something that screws closed. They can open those too but at least it takes them a little longer. I’m not really comfortable with spring latch clips because I have seen horror stories of those getting caught and running right through the skin under their beaks. I do think that it might be okay for smaller birds like budgies though, as I’ve said.I think this is a great value for the price because it does seem really solid with smooth wood. It seems like it’s been made with care. Definitely not for the big chewers though. Once mine have worked up the courage to go near this I’ll get some pictures of them playing with it and add them to my review.As of now, I’m impressed with the worksmanship that has gone into making this toy. It’s given me a good impression of the company so I definitely will consider them when ordering new bird toys in the future.

Nice-looking toy for small birds
This is a moon-shaped bird perch/toy made of wood, rope, cork, and plastic. It has a small yellow bell at the bottom.This bird toy is suitable for indoor use only, for small birds only.The hanging mechanism is a small painted metal clasp, followed by plastic chain, and a metal painted ring. There are six holes on the upper part of the moon, and the toy comes with tiny corks that you can push into the holes. Extra corks are provided. The idea is your bird will play with the corks, pulling them out and/or destroying them. The perch part is covered by colored woven yarn. I can imagine a parrot with bumblefoot would enjoy sitting on the soft perch.I would not give this to a larger bird because the plastic pieces do not appear very sturdy. I would not put this outside because the metal pieces will rust and the delicate wood and cork components will not survive the elements.This perch looks very nice. My bird has not agreed to play with it yet, but that’s birds for you.

nice, but large for a parakeet cage
I have been getting some new swings and toys to rotate in our parakeet’s cage to give her something to do when we aren’t home. I got this “Natural Bird Swing” from Tafit.This is larger than I thought. It takes up a lot of our cage space. Thus far our bird enjoys sitting on it, but hasn’t taken to chewing it. I like that it has some cork plugs to put in for chewing.The swing is well made, I’m happy with it.

I was a little worried this wasn’t gonna be big enough for my green cheeks to sit in, but it does fit them!I wouldn’t put this in their cage since neither the connection clip nor the cheaper bell is fully safe, but I have it hanging from a wire ikea shelf, next to my computer where I can supervise them playing with it. My boy immediately started gnawing off the cork and got into it with the bell for a bit.This is an adorable design, but if you want to put it inside a cage for them to use unsupervised, I would replace the connection point with a pear clip and take off the bell/screw hook so it doesn’t get stuck on their beak.

adorable but small
This perch is CUTE but double check the sizing. It’s overall somewhat dainty but the quality is good. The biggest issue I see is the hardware size – the clip is tiny for properly securing a perch.
