1. Why the light return to manual on or off status when the light was in timer mode during a power outage?
After a power outage, the time will need to be set. If the power is back up again, the light will return to the previous status before the timer mode is enabled. Therefore, turning off the light is recommended before choosing the timer mode.
2. Why it takes less 15 minutes to ramp up/dim down?
It will take 15 minutes to ramp up from 0% to 100% (or dim down from 100% to 0%). As the intensity decreases, the ramp up/dim down time will be proportionally shorter. For example, if the light ramp up to 50% intensity, the ramp time will be half of 15 minutes.
3. Can I use this controller with other brand LED light?
Yes, any 5 – 24V DC light up to 5A using a 2.1 x 5.5 mm barrel connector is compatible. Please check with your LED lighting manufacturer for any compatibility information.

They Donât Last Long
Works great at the beginning, but for some reason I have bought 3 and after a month or two of usage the timer stops working. You can still turn it on and off manually but the automatic function stops working. Works good but they donât last

Pretty Good… Until it Dies
I’ve had this timer for just under a year, originally purchased on May 21, 2023 (today is May 19, 2024). About a week ago I noticed my fish tank light was off after coming back from a weekend trip. I thought maybe my friend who fed my fish while I was away turned it off for some reason and reset the timer. Nope, the light was off again by the time I got home from class. I spent another day battling the timer function before giving up and deciding to just manually turn the light on and off and order a new timer. Last night, the light kept turning itself on randomly. The timer function was NOT engaged so I kept having to get up to turn it off again. My tank is in my room so it is definitely disruptive to my sleep to have the light turning on in the middle of the night. Today I ordered a new timer from a different company when I woke up this morning to the light being on again. I will be disconnecting this timer from the light system of my tank and maintaining the light manually until the new timer arrives.TL;DR: the timer lasted just under a year and the week it started dying was mildly frustrating trying to figure out what was going on. For only $10 it worked pretty well. I’m disappointed it didn’t last longer but with daily use I guess a year is pretty decent. I’m ordering a better timer for future use.

Perfect Timer for a Natural Light Cycle!
I love this aquarium light timer! It fits perfectly onto my Aqueon LED hood, and the best part is the gradual dimming feature. Instead of suddenly turning on and startling my fish, it slowly brightens in the morning and dims at night, creating a much more natural transition. Itâs a great product, easy to use, and makes a big difference for my tank. Highly recommend!

Died after 15 months
Worked great for a little over a year. Then it stopped working. Came here to buy a new one but I see a lot of other people have had the same complaint so I’ll go with a different brand.

Good for about a year
Worked fine for a year then started randomly turning aquarium lights on and off. It freaked out my fish when lights were doing random stuff. I liked it when it worked but for a small piece of electronics it died too fast.

Did not work for fluval flex 57L tanks light, light works fine until I plugged this into it. Light would flash/strobe , timer would not set ! junk. I tried it on all of my 5 fluval flex tank lights and no results, easy to return though and try to find something else.
