Easy clean bedding
Customers say
Customers find this corn cob bedding to be the best value for money and appreciate its absorbency, with one customer noting it soaks up urine well. Moreover, the bedding is easy to clean, has almost no dust, and is huge in size, filling entire large plastic bins. Additionally, they find it works well for both bird cages and small animal enclosures, and one customer mentions it doesn’t scatter out of the cage.

Pestell Pet Products Easy Clean Corn Cob Bedding, 46 Liters Works for our Parrot
Our African Grey only likes Corn Cob Bedding. This brand works great. It’s the correct size cob pieces to use a kitty litter scoop to remove the droppings, and leave the cob pieces that are still clean. Some brands have too small or too large of cob pieces which make it difficult to scoop out of the parrot’s cage. We have been purchasing this brand for a while.

Best Cat Litter for Us
I have tried several different kinds of corn cob bedding for my cat litter boxes. I do not like clay litter, or clumping litter because it is usually scented and very heavy, and winds up in landfills. The corn cob stuff can be flushed, even with a septic tank. Or I can put it out in my compost pile (we live out in the country).Others I have tried were either too coarsely ground, and wouldn’t sift through the scoop, or else very dusty, which was OK for my outside cat litter boxes and my rabbit barn, but not for my inside cats.Another brand I was purchasing from our local feed mill store turns out is made in China! Um, because there aren’t enough corn cobs in the USA? What? I’m pretty certain the Chinese bedding is made from US corn cobs shipped over there to be ground and packaged. So, this product is meeting my cats’ litter box needs just peachy. And it weighs about 75% less than scoopable clay litters. I think there is less smell, too, but I do use a pet odor eliminator candle when a particularly “fragrant” load is left in the box.I have 4 cats using 1 litter box (Almost unheard of in all of Catdom!) but it is in my bathroom, and I check it every time I go in there. It doesn’t get a chance to get filled up.

Clean Litter, Great Price
I’ve tried a couple other brands of corn cob litter (including one very well known name) and find this one has extremely low dust and no odd debris. And as best I can tell it appears to be a North American product.I live in the desert where the humidity usually runs under 25%, 5-10% is pretty normal, and “shavings” and other lightweight materials often tend to stick in odd places (static electricity goes up as humidity goes down). Expanded corn cob bits don’t “crawl” up the inside of enclosures or stick to the critters that use it, no matter how dry it’s gotten. Urine smells don’t normally get troubling (to me at least) for 5-7 days under dry conditions. I have noticed a need to change litter more frequently as humidity levels increase (monsoon season); it just doesn’t seem to absorb urine as well when the weather is wetter.I actually use this for natural non-clumping cat litter, as other favorite natural cat litters (clumping and non) either “stick” in weird places (including feline fur from head to toe) due to static electricity, leave color on the white cats’ paws, are too rough for some finicky cats’ paws, or some combo of these. So far even the finicky cats that avoided walnut shell litter have not avoided using corn cob litter, no weird colors stick to any of their paws, and tracking is minimal (though not fun to step on).

HUGE Bag – Great Product
I use this for my rabbit’s litter box. I wanted a bedding material that is different from the recycled paper bedding I use in the rest of his cage. I will note that this stuff is not soft and cuddly, so I would recommend it for litter boxes or drop trays only. Rabbits cannot have clumping litter in their cage because it causes respiratory problems, so this is a great alternative. It does not clump, but it does soak up urine pretty well. I generally change it every other day. My hardware store had stopped carrying another brand of corn cob litter, so I looked here on Amazon. I was a little worried about spending $20 since I wasn’t sure how much I would be getting and of what quality. I am happy to say that I was shocked at huge this bag was when it arrived. It filled an entire large plastic bin! It seems like good quality and has very low amounts of dust. Another big plus of corn cob bedding is that it is very environmentally friendly as it is a byproduct of corn production – which is the largest agricultural production in the US. I definitely recommend this product.

Clean, high quality corncob litter that keeps very well with no moisture
Make sure you are able to lift 50 lbs before ordering this, because it is seriously heavy. It came inside a box and I could tell from the look on the delivery man’s face that he was dying to know what it was. I told him and he went “Aha!” I recommend having a wheeled bin to store this in to make it easy to move around.I’ve used this product before, and it keeps for many, many months in the opened bag without rotting or developing any kind of contamination (I always keep it inside my air-conditioned house). The litter is clean, almost perfectly pure with no unusual bits in it, and produces only the slightest amount of dust. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for clean corncob with no additives or colors.

BIG BAG
OH boy where do I start? The box it came in was destroyed at some point during transit- I say this assuming it was a box at some point- because it arrived as a giant bag of corn cob nibblets draped in no-longer-tacky packaging tape and shreds of brown paper, which must have been the ghost of said cardboard that once cradled it.-Non absorbent and easily disseminated throughout the house via aether and/or spontaneous regeneration.- An earth-toned palate of wide ranging ochres accentuated at times with an errant patch of corporeal red, leaves you to wonder if your pet has been bleeding .- Is the most diplomatic of bedding materials; will not give off or take away any offensive animal odors in your home.
