JULY 16, 2024 4th Review 3rd UPDATEI continue to use Baja Basic Hair Growth Elixir even though the big crown bald spot from wearing sunhats for 15 years went away totally in May of 2023 and never returned. Thanks to the Baja Basic Hair Growth Elixir. My hair is full and healthy. The Elixir works best for me when my hair is dried after shampooing and then the Elixir is sprayed on dry hair. It gives body, hair strength, and just enough elixir gets to my scalp. It does NOT work to saturate the scalp and roots. So DON’T over spray.Last year I recommended a shampoo made from Pomegranate & Honey from the brand MIELLE to go along with the Baja’s Hair Elixir. (Information about it can be found below in the review dated May 24, 2023.)Now I am recommending another shampoo for you to use with the Baja Basics Hair Growth Elixir. This is a body wash that doubles as a shampoo. This body wash rinses off easily without leaving a residue. It makes my skin moist and takes away all dryness so my skin is radiant and soft, thanks to this body wash. The brand is NATURIUM and it is The Multi Vitamin Daily Nutrients Body Wash. It contains Omega Fatty Acids, Niacinamide, Panthenol Plus Amino Acids and Minerals. Used as a shampoo it STOPS HAIR FROM SHEDDING! It gives hair superb body, and is not drying at all. (The MIELLE was a little drying to my hair. Good for people with oily scalp which I don’t have.)The NATURIUM Multi-Vitamin is NOT drying at all. I like NATURIUM better than the MIELLE shampoo. It lathers really great so not much product needs to be used. It is $15.95 for 16.9 Fl OZ. The NATURIUM cleans the scalp fantastically just as the MIELLE does. It is a about $4 more than the MIELLE, to me it is worth the money. I like both shampoos. But having a body wash double as a great shampoo is a big plus factor for me. Especially when it cleans so well without stripping and stops the scalp from itching. I still use the MIELLE once in awhile. So I have two great alternatives.A side NOTE to consider: If you are using any product on your hair or body that contains jojoba oil, castor oil, rosemary oils or grapeseed oils then these two shampoos will NOT work for you. Why? Castor oil and jojoba oil are depilatories. They cause hair follicles to weaken and die and hair on your scalp or pubic area, or eye lashes will fall out or shed badly. Rosemary is a neurotoxin. So Rosemary oils and extracts cannot be used on a regular basis or eaten often. Many people don’t know that, so please read up on neurotoxin and rosemary oils and rosemary herb. Grapeseed contains cyanide. So does apricot kernel and oil from peach pit.Avoid cyanide containing oils from fruit pits and seeds.A common emulsifier is xanthan gum which is made from the bacteria xanthamonus campestris. Xanthan gum is in drinks, foods, in so many products. It can cause hair to shed and cause skin problems digestion problems, and when it used in baby formulas, it killed the babies. The bacteria ate the stomach lining and even the stomach of the babies. In many countries in Europe it is banned. In the United State for awhile there was a push to have xanthan gum removed from food and drinks but the manufactures changed the name to gellan gum and used it anyway under that different name. The food and drink industries refused to stop using it. Xanthan gum is made by putting the bacterium in soy, corn, or milk and letting the bacterium eat those items and poop out the gum. So xanthan gum is bacterium poop. You can see the bacterium when carrots, or squash or fruits rot and get black. That black thing is the bacterium. I began to use this product on January 2nd of this year. Right away I had body with no greasy hair. About 20 days later, little tiny hairs about a quarter inch long started to sprout all over my scalp. Now, Four month later there is NO bald spot. There are hairs about two inches long covering the bald area so that spot is history!! I found that this product worked best after I shampooed my hair and let the hair air dry. Then spray the rice water. If I used the product when my hair was wet I tended to use too much product. When the hair is dry I spray enough to give my hair body. That’s it. You will find you will have excellent body instantly! I began to use a new shampoo about a week after I started to use the rice water, so the shampoo could be contributing to the fantastic result of full head of shiny hair. If you are interested here is the name of the organic shampoo. I need to share with you while I gave the rice water 5 stars I gave shampoo only four stars. The one reason was because the shampoo made my hair just a tiny bit dry. I wrote a review for that shampoo. But that shampoo cleaned so well without drying the scalp so the scalp stopped itching. It gave my hair great body, too, like the rice water. It is called Mielle Pomogranate and Honey moisturizing and detangling and hydrating shampoo for type 4 dry hair curly hair straight hair to restore and repair. It is $12 for 12 fluid ounces, so a dollar an ounce. It is made by Mielle Organics. I know you will LOVE the shampoo! I cannot do without the shampoo and rice water. Thanks to these 2 products I have a full head of shiny hair. I also began to take new vitamins that could have contributed to the fantastic results. If you are interested in the vitamins let me know. There was a space where people could message someone on a review they wrote but that capability may have been removed by Amazon. Not sure. It leaves hair full with strength in each strand of hair. There are little hairs sprouting all over my head. I am taken off guard because I didn’t expect such positive results from any product. I am in a state of disbelief. Nothing in my life has worked this well without major effort on my part. In this stunned state, I will give this product another month to see if the positive results will continue.My first review is below this line_____________________________________________________My hair has noticeable body. The effect was immediate. Since hair grows half an inch a month, it will take time for me to see if this product really enhances hair growth. I have been using it two weeks. What I like about this product is there is no stickiness while at the same time, it provides body, I plan to reorder in the near future and for me, it is worth giving it a try for two months. That is a lot of time for me, since I usually give a product a day or two only. There is nothing negative about this product, hence the five stars.

Best leave-in conditioner I’ve ever tried!
I’ve been using Baja Basics products for a while now and each time I try a new product I’m just so happy. I am loving Baja Basics Rice water as a leave in conditioner but you can use this also as a pre shampoo treatment. I have longer grey hair and because grey hair is fragile, I’m always looking for a non chemical way to protect my hair and this is definitely working to help my hair grow healthier. It smells great, and because it contains D-panthenol my hair is so silky smooth and it has glycerin to pull moisture into your hair to keep it well hydrated.

Does what it promises
After spraying this rice water on my damp, freshly-washed hair and then blow-drying it, I was pleasantly surprised at how soft, manageable, and full of volume and body my hair was. That was yesterday, and today my hair feels and looks just as good as it did after being washed and dried. This stuff really does what it’s supposed to. I have low thyroid, so my skin and hair are dry. I have to use a lot of conditioner, and that includes a leave in AFTER using a wash-out conditioner in the shower, for my hair to behave and look moisturized and polished. I decided to spray this rice water into my hair and rub it into my scalp after conditioning in the shower, and after I dried my hair, it actually had a slight curl at the ends and no frizz. Now, my hair reacts terribly to humidity, and I will be interested to see if it goes lank even after using this product. Otherwise, my hair feels and looks strong and healthy, and the rose scent that some say is too strong isn’t. I will be purchasing again. I’m also going to look into purchasing a race-water based shampoo and conditioner. There are several vendors on Amazon (Viori is one) who sell these in bar-form, and I’d like to ditch the bottles besides. I’m hoping that using these natural, rice-water based shampoos and conditioners will complement the leave-in rice water spray I’m using now, and that this will help me turn a corner towards an improved head of hair and towards more natural and healthful hair and scalp maintenance.

I’m almost hesitant to write this review because I don’t want it to become too popular it sells out. I have tried everything for my dry thin damaged and aging hair. Spent so much $$. Even recently tried expensive hair Botox (save your money on that one). But this!?! I will never do without. My hair is so soft, shiny and frizz free. I don’t even have to use heat to smooth it. Just air dried and had beautiful soft waves. This has never happened with any other product ever! All those products that claim to rid frizz never did. Big huge thank you to the company that created this product 🙂

This is the best product believe me you wont regret plus its cheap.The smell is a a plus point its so so good.Plus I have curly hairs it helps me a lot to detangle my hair and luckily its made of all best ingredient.
