NOT FOR DOG, HIGH EFFICIENCY – BEETRO sheep shear, a power of 500 watts and provides up to 2400 RPM to improve efficiency, making your job of shearing sheep, goat alpaca and more to become more easily and quickly.
SPEED ADJUSTABLE – Low speed (1-3) offers precision performance to clip sensitive areas while high speed (4-6) delivers maximum power for faster trims and full body shave down. Whether you are a beginner or professional, the 6 speeds control help you finish the task quickly and easily.
PROFESSIONAL SHEARS – Sharp blade with high hardness, high heat resistance, toughness.
MULTIPLE USE – A professional sheep clipper, suitable for sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas. While we do not recommend using it on cats and puppies since the powerful motor. And please do not use it on people.
CAUTIONS -When using electric sheep shears, remember to lubricate the blades. Remember that the machine cannot run at idle. It is easy to get hot when two blades rub together. Please use the cooling spray every few minutes, take short breaks during shearing, clean the blade in time and don’t run idle to prevent the blade from overheating. And please pay attention to its size and weight, it may be large and heavy for someone.
About carbon brush – The reason the clippers stop working may due to the carbon brush have worn out. Please replace them with the new one then it will work again.
Customers say
Customers find the sheep shears work well, particularly on meat sheep, and appreciate their smooth cutting action, with one customer noting they cut through matted hair easily. The product receives positive feedback for its quality and value for money. However, the blades dull quickly and several teeth break during use, and customers report that the shears overheat in about 3 minutes and stop working after 20 seconds.

Good Value for Small Flocks.
Great for the price. Only one of my goats needs shearing, and I had been really struggling with hand shears. I have never used any other electric shears, so I can’t really compare the noise level or heat to anything else, but they worked very well. I used the oil that came with them and some cooling spray, but they didn’t get excessively hot. I’m assuming these won’t last as long as an expensive set, but I think they are a great option for someone who only needs to shear a few animals once or twice a year. Even if I had to buy a new one every year, it is totally worth the convenience. As long as you know general animal grooming safety, they are much safer while giving a closer cut than hand shears. My biggest caution is to be careful not to let the animal kick into the comb (or kick your hand into the comb), but that goes for any electric shears. I also see a lot of people getting these for dogs, and I would NOT recommend using them on a dog. They are much louder than dog grooming clippers, and if your dog is matted, you can use a 10 or 30 blade to get under mats much more safely, with a better result. It is really not necessary to get something this powerful for dog hair.

Works! but dulls fast
5 Stars for price and quality!! Here’s a picture of the first sheep I ever sheered with Beetro Shears. 4 Stars on “Sheerness” because the blades dull and gum up rather quickly. BUT they cleaned and sharpened up very easily by taking off the blade from the “chicken feet” and running a file along the vertical, scissor like top blade on each side. I did not file the flat blade-to-blade part because I think that would misalign and ruin it. Also they do heat up fast so I would just touch the smooth bottom of the blades to my skin and when they would burn, I stood the sheep up and waited for the the shears to cool. Slower that way, but for my farm slower is better than paying thousands for professional shears! I sheared 4 Shetland Sheep! On the second sheep the blade was dull (and so was I to not figure that out) so the job was worse. Then I switched blades and the third sheep went very well. Then on my fourth sheep I decided to try filing the blade and it worked well!

Sharp and Effective, But Heats Up Quickly
We purchased this product to shear our show sheep, and overall, they work very well. The blades are extremely sharp, so you do need to be careful while clipping to avoid accidents. They cut smoothly and efficiently, which makes the job easier. However, one thing to note is that the blades heat up fairly quickly, so itâs important to keep an eye on the temperature and give them breaks to cool down as needed. Otherwise, a solid, reliable tool for anyone shearing livestock.

I love these clippers!! No problem on my first shearing.
I ordered BEETRO 500W, Electric Professional Sheep Shears, Animal Grooming Clippers for Sheep Alpacas Goats… after reading through several reviews. I have prior experience as a dog groomer, so felt confident that I could adjust to shearing sheep. The shears worked great. I didn’t feel any resistance while it was going through the wool. I oiled the blades well and often as stated in the instructions, and in some earlier reviews, and they never got hot. I used them for the neck and body moving downward at the top of the legs so as not to cut the skin where the legs attach to the body.I used these scissors:Ihttps://www.amazon.com/Thorntons-Art-Supply-Multi-Purpose-Seamstress/dp/B01C1U2MLG/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1XSDK3QDISUJM&keywords=Craft+Arthritis+Soft+Grip+Spring-Assisted+8-Inch+Scissors&qid=1692120313&sprefix=craft+arthritis+soft+grip+spring-assisted+8-inch+scissors%2Caps%2C196&sr=8-2to trim around her head, face, legs, and under belly because I felt it was easier for me and safer for her. They also work great! Her fleece is amazing and she is happy. No nicks and very few second cuts.My stand was a repurposed milk stand, using my wagon sides to help keep her from falling off the sides. The instructions say not to use on dogs. I would agree.I would highly recommend these clippers for an owner of a small flock of sheep.

Ok
Works well to sheer sheep, but the blade seems dull after one lamb. Needed a new blade after the second lamb, it barely trimmed our wether, he looks like a hot messÂ

Amazing – clips my alpacas fabulously!
I bought these last year after a well known alpaca shearing group left 2 of my alpacas’s undersheared – they indicated their coats were oily “alpacas don’t have lanolin” after they left as they were shearing in the dark I ordered these as the shearing job was a hack piece – I was able to finish trimming them then put them up in case I ever needed them. Well this year the cost of shearing has gone up again and I cannot afford it so decided to try to shear on my own after spending 7 years having someone professionally shear them. I do not sell or process the fleece so it just needs to be off the animal. I tied my largest alpaca Puck and did a standing shear on him – after 10 mins he’s about 3/4 done – I’d rather go slow and spray the blades frequently than go fast and cause harm. I’m ordering a second set of blades so I can ensure all my 5 alpacas are clipped well. I don’t know why this is listed as a frequently returned item it worked great for me and I am very particular about products I use on my animals. A++++++

Youâre wasting your money
I first off I am very adept when it comes to electronic mechanical devices. This item is not built well, the components fail quickly, motor runs hot, clipper teeth will not stay engaged, and the two teeth components will not stay together for cutting.

Worked great on a matted elderly Tibetan Mastiff. Very loud but does the job efficiently.

Does what it has to do. Not sure how it would hold up if I had 500 or more ewes to shear every year. But for a few it does the job.
