I opened the inner box containing the stone outside. Yes, a fair amount of dust, and 2 pieces were broken, but still useable. This is a good amount of dragon stone. Enough to create a nice display in 2 or 3 10 gal tanks, depending how much density you desire.
I grabbed a plastic colander that I use for cleaning items, and put 3 larger stones at a time into it. I hit them with a jet stream from my hose to get the initial dirt off, then switched to hand holding them with a fan stream for final rinse. Worked like a charm, done in 10 minutes. If you don't have a garden hose, a faucet sprayer will work too. Just be sure to put a large rinse container in your sink, and let the coarser dirt settle b4 you pour any down the drain. You don't want that stuff settling in your sink traps. Better yet, empty the container outside.
I played with the pieces on an outdoor table for an initial setup. Then transferred to my 2nd shrimp tank. Looks outstanding, and no cloudiness to my water. Ran a water test next day, and no changes. All good, awaiting shrimp arrival. Plants really set off these stones, along with black substrate, and a couple of 6" cholla logs. I will definitely buy again if I need more. I have enough left to do a 3rd tank. My 1st has large white quartz rocks provided by Mother Nature. It is luck of the draw. All of my pieces were 6 to 8 inches in size, with the exception of the 2 that were broken. Those were still very attractive as smaller accent pieces to the main display.

Read Review for details on the product and conclusion!
As others have stated in their reviews, The product when it arrives is very dirty. But I thought that rocks come from the ground and are naturally dirty. I washed the rocks off and then weighted each one and added up the total weight. After weighting each washed rock, the total was 9.09 lbs. I was pleased with the assortment but as others have stated there is a lot of very small stones. I collected all the smaller stones as seen in picture #1 which totaled 16 pcs. and the combine weight was 12 Oz. I then took the largest stone which weighted in at 75.8 Oz. or 4.737 lbs. There were 7 more that ranged between 11 to 4 Oz. each. All the rocks were nice natural color and was a good size variety. I was thinking that anyone who will sell you rocks for aqua scaping is either going to clean each rock for you and charge you top dollar for the time invested in doing so OR they will keep their cost low and ship the rock to you as they get them and hope that the weight of the dirt on the rock is something that you do not pay for. Overall, the total weight after all the washing (there was A LOT of washing) was exactly the weight as described and sold! Nice assortment and very accurate weighing. I purchased this for a 25 Gal. aquarium and along with some spider wood was more than enough for the job with rocks left over. The smaller stones are a perfect size to attach live plants if you’re going that route. Overall Nice rocks, good variety, and good cost. Very pleased with the order!

Beautiful Dragon stone, great value
These stones are absolutely beautiful. 9 lbs is a perfect amount for a 10 gallon aquarium. The stones came well packages and were dusty but not very hard to clean. I put them in my kitchen sink and used my hand sprayer to gently pressure wash all of the holes and grooves. I received 1 big chunk and several smaller pieces. Very good value for the price. You definitely want to rinse well before putting in your tank. There are some sharp edges, but just the nature of the stone. Easy to file down.

Excellent Deal for Aquascaping Fans!
Iâm really happy with this purchase! I paid around $17 total (including tax) for the 10 lbs of Seiryu Stone, and I actually received almost 12 lbs â a nice surprise since I usually get less than whatâs promised. The rocks were a bit dirty and had some glue residue, but nothing that water couldnât clean off easily. I also got two big chunks that I can break down and use for aquascaping. Overall, amazing value and solid quality stones for the price, definitely recommend!

Good value
Came as I expected – I got a massive piece to serve as a center piece, it can give a freshwater tank the appearance of a mountain or coral reef, perfect for planting or gluing scape or plants to. There were a couple other fist-sized pieces, a few smaller pieces and several small stones. Gave it a quick rinse and itâs in the tank and looks great, with several pieces left for another tank.

Very happy with this purchase!
These require a good cleaning but they are super nice and way more product for your money than any store around me. Good size ! My shrimp and smaller fish love them! No cloudy water after cleaning them!

Great Assortment and Size!
I bought the 9lb box and the rocks had to be thoroughly cleaned, but the end result is perfect, especially for the price.Pictured image is a 10 gallon tank with all the rocks included.

Dirty
Purchased these for our aquarium. Rocks almost appeared to be pulled from the ground and packaged. I have never received such a dirty product. We rinsed thoroughly and placed in our aquarium prior to adding fished – roughly 5 days prior to introduction of fish.Ended up having to do a full water change after noticing an oil film, two fished died within 24 hours.Blasted these rocks with a shower head and they crumbled and dirt still poured from every crevice imaginable. After full tank cleaning and change, water has stayed clear, surviving fish is healthy and happy.Wouldnât purchase again, but they are pretty once thoroughly cleaned
