My Boxie Loves This !!!
I have a rescued Eastern Painted Box Turtle that we have had since she was a baby (for about 5 years) she is very finicky with her food, since day one… anything other than scrambled eggs, Florida earthworms, Pill bugs and mealworms she refuses to eat.I have tried every Boxie food on the market with absolutely no success, but I figured I would shell out another $15 and give this one a try.I am so glad I did! These cubes are rather large, so I cut them in half and reconstituted them in warm water, I put about 5 cubes in a small dish and put them in her tank, I got up this morning and the bowl was empty!I am totally blown away! My turtle has never done this with any food I have ever given her!I am so thrilled to finally find something that my baby actually loves to eat!

Too good – my “princess turtle” doesn’t want to eat anything else
If you have a picky eater, this is the turtle chow to get. My RES became spoiled after I started “treating” her with raw human-grade shrimp, but it was a pain to regularly thaw, cook, and cut it up into little turtle bite-size pieces. Unbeknownst to my turtle, I have a life outside of feeding her and cleaning her perpetually filthy habitat. It’s expensive, but it saves me time, so I can work more hours to provide for my turtle in the manner in which she has become accustomed.
