This is a great ornament for my betta tank. No sharp edges. The color is vibrant. It is soft and not bothersome to my fishâs fins. Itâs easy to clean algae off of it as well. A great buy

These look nice, a bit of a smell have them soaking first
I do like them one came cracked though so that wasn’t fun, they smell just a bit of something maybe the plastic so I have them soaking in a bucket for a few days before use.Nice looking plants though just wish mine came undamaged, maybe just a carrier issue.

These are really cute! They are a great size for our toads and will add a splash of color to our toadsâ terrarium. The light pink compliments the light green leafs well. These are small enough the toads still have plenty of room to explore. With the plants attached to the logs, the toads wonât be able to trample them. I tossed a toad on the bigger plant and the plant didnât move or fall over, but the toad fell off. In the week, that they have been in the terrarium, they have not moved or fallen over- we use them in coconut substrate. They are easy enough to clean. The logs are nicely painted with a little shine to them. I did not notice any sharp areas on them that would be concerning around our pets. The leaves are sturdy, and the underside of the leaves doesnât look much different from the tops. When I put the new leaves in, the toads went right over to check them out. These are very cute and are a great addition to our terrarium!

A Real Pop of Color!
I’ve got two goldfish that are voracious eaters. They will eat almost anything I put on their tank, so false plants are the only way I can decorate. When these popped up on my feed, I was anxious to try them, as I thought they might add a little pop of color to the all green. That they did! They are a great size for my 29 gallon tank, I think anything larger might be too much, color-wise. Love the look. I put them in a water filled bucket before placing them in the tank, and they didn’t leach any color or smells beforehand, so are safe for fish. Goldy and Hamilton have left them alone so far, so I’m hoping to be able to keep them looking nice for quite a while.

I ordered the Smoothedo-Pets Aquarium Two Piece Artificial Driftwood and Plants in Hot Pink for my Betta tanks. Out of the box, you receive a larger and smaller piece, both with artificial plants on them. The driftwood looks real, to the point the “wood” is pretty rough, and not real conducive to long finned, ornamental fish like bettas. It is also heavy, so it should hold the plants in place. The plants are made of some sort of fabric and plastic, are well attached and pretty substantial.Nevertheless, the plants have been attached to the “driftwood” using what appears to be hot glue. No care has been used in applying the adhesive and it is messy with the tell-tale hot glue strings are all over it. Now having an tropical fish enthusiast for years, and knowing a thing or two about aquarium adhesives, I have never seen an aquarium adhesive make “strings” like hot glue does. Now the reason this is of interest is that I know of no hot glue that is safe for aquarium fish, as it leaches toxins into the water. In fairness, I did look into this extensively and the internet does state there are some hot glues that are supposed to be aquarium safe, but the general consensus among aquarium enthusiast is to stick to FDA aquarium approved sealants.The Amazon ad states the following: “…The product uses gypsum/polyethylene/plastic/environment-friendly pigment with stable properties. Under normal circumstances, there will be no discoloration….” This doesn’t cover the the adhesive, nor can I find anything in the ad the talks about the adhesive.That said, personally, I am not comfortable using the Smoothedo-Pets Aquarium Two Piece Artificial Driftwood and Plants in Hot Pink in my betta tanks. I am not comfortable with the placing a long finned betta with an aquarium ornaments that are so rough. Yet they would be fine for short finned fish. Additionally, I question if the adhesive is aquarium safe. I’ve never seen aquarium plants attached this way and definitely not with glue strings all over it. So in fairness, I have given the decorations three stars, because I can’t find any information about the adhesive. But I am not going to use them in my tanks.

Great Aquarium Addition
This decor item for my fish tank looks very realistic and is much higher quality than other fake plants I have put in my tank. It is on the smaller side, perfect for my 26 gallon tank. It is very easy to clean as needed. So far no issues and overall a wonderful addition to anyoneâs tank!
