As we all know, reptiles are not constant temperature animals, and food digestion can only be realized by the effect of external temperature. The UVA imitate direct sunlight, promote food digestion and absorption.
The UVB can make Vitamin D3 and promote calcium absorption. Vitamin D3 is an important part of calcium metabolism in most reptiles. Sufficient vitamin D3 is helpful for most reptiles to form good and healthy bone tissue.

Reliable on a budget
Iâm not sure why some people did not have a good experience with this bulb because I have ordered this bulb a few times and never had an issue with it. One bulb alone heats my beardieâs terrarium well. I usually order a new one once a year, but the bulb seems to do the job even past a year.
Almost waste of money –
Best basking uv bulbs
The best Basking heat bulbs to buy. I used a uv meter on it and the UV level was exactly where it was supposed to be for the distance. I used to use MixJoy but a new bulb of theirs was reading at over 100.00uv, basically a cancer beam. Now Yield sun is the only one I trust.

Faulty and expensive, Thats a bad combo
This bulb blew after about 6 hours of use if that. Would not recommend for the price either.

Not so good for bearded dragons
They probably work great for other reptiles, just not for my bearded dragons. Went from a long t5 tube uv light to this and my dragons instantly started losing energy and were always tired… the thing is about them dying in a week or so, not sure if others that reviewed these know it or not, but if it gets shut off or power goes out, they will not turn back on for about 5-10 mins. So you will think the bulb is dead, when in fact it’s just in the cooldown period.
