Keeps Our Cornsnake Alive
We live in a colder climate (New England) and this lamp keeps our Cornsnake Willow super happy and warm. We have left it on for days, and it has never burned through the mesh of her cage, nor is it dangerous to touch. The ceramic base can be warm to the touch, but could never burn. We move the light every day and turn it off at night. It never warms up the cage too much where the snake habitat and rock get hot or the glass warms up – we would never want to burn our snake. It’s been about six months and we have yet to replace the bulb, which is so nice.

I had to order a different heating lamp. This one doesnât emit enough heat to warm the cage.
