My squirrels are obsessed with these peanuts. I put them out in a tray and itâs like ringing a dinner bell, every day like clockwork they return for their daily fix.They’re fresh, good quality, and apparently taste amazing (based on how fast they disappear). I swear Iâm on a first-name basis with half the backyard wildlife now. If you want happy, chubby squirrels and hours of free entertainment, these peanuts are the way to go.

I felt like snow white!!! Lol
The peanuts are a distraction so the squirrels don’t eat the bird seed and get into the feeders. The peanuts also fed a family of raccoons, chipmunks and some deer wandering through the yard. Food was had by many. Fun for my 99 yr old mom to watch the raccoons. We will not be feeding the squirrels any more it attracts the unwanted animals.

Four or five squirrels and several Blujays believe I am a peanut dispenser. When I work at my kitchen table, one of the squirrels climbs up on the tree stump, stands as tall as s/he can, with little paws across the front of his body – and STARES AT ME. I can read EYE-LANGUAGE. He is saying to me, ” Mom, I need MY peanut NOW!” I look out and tell him I am coming. I hear the Bluejay calling as little squirrel jumps down and races me to the back glass sliding door. As I unlock and pull it open, he places one little paw on the door as if to let me know this entire endeavor would not be possible without him. He then sticks his head inside and so very gently removes the peanut from my fingers. Sometimes he will even place his little paw on my hand in a seeming gesture of gratitude. These little guys really love these peanuts. They must smell and taste fresh . Some times the little fella will look at the peanut before taking it from my hand. Especially when it is a shell holding THREE peanuts. When he takes it, he rolls it around in and out of his mouth to check it out. Once he has counted that there are THREE peanuts, he proudly scampers away – I have no clue what they do with all the peanuts I give them. They should all be overweight!
