BUY THESE CLIPS!
People ainât lyin…. save yourself the time and frustration… donât bother with any other clips than these. They come with 4 clips but, I know my son and my concern was that he wouldnât put 4 back on every time…. leaving a point of weakness. Our Spotted Python is in a grow-out tank right now until sheâs large enough to move into her large Viv and weâve been piling rocks on top to prevent escape. 𤣠After a bit of playing around and testing them in different places, I ended up simply putting one on each end of the tank. This tank is BioActive, has tons of soil, wood and rocks so itâs HEAVY. I kid you not, these are so damn secure that you could almost LIFT the tank by the lid. Super easy to take on and off and very sturdy. I will sleep better at night now knowing that sweet Vraska is safe. FANTASTIC product. Took awhile to arrive but WELL worth the wait. I couldnât be happier with them.

Great ‘locks’ for leopard gecko houses against a 3 yr old! Very easy to adjust tension by bending to tighten back up.

These work great.
We have them on a 10 gallon tank, but I think they would work for a wide range of tanks that have a screen cover. My snake doesn’t even attempt to lift the cover and they’re fairly easy to get on and off, if not a bit loud.

PERFECT FOR MY SNAKE
These clips are perfect for my snakeâs tank lid!Iâve read other buyers stating the clips were too small or whatever else. The only thing I can offer is this: Were you patient and looked at the whole picture, or think outside the box? You have to press on them to open the âjawsâ a bit. Do this just a tiny bit at a time so as not to put too much stress on the corners. Theyâre malleable enough to open and close if you go too much either way. They do work, people!Gone are the days of having some random heavy object on one side of the lid and a stupid piece of 2×4 on the other to keep my escape artist (corn snake) from sneaking out!Iâll be ordering these again for whatever other critter I acquire in the future. A job well done on an awesome tool. Also an awesome price for the quantity you get.

Good use if you want to secure a screen top on a normal regular glass aquarium. In my case, I am using it for a 20L aquarium.You will have to learn how to clip on and how to remove, but once you figured it out, it is simple.
